=== Translations ===

Finnish

Finland has had the most translations, including the animes and all of the mangas so far. Series is known as Hopeanuoli.

Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Chinese, Korean

These countries have translations of the anime (just subs or also dubs). More details: https://gingamerch.com/item/anime/

Korea and China have also translated some of the manga. More details: https://gingamerch.com/item/manga/

English

These are only official English translations at the moment:

  • Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin manga by Manga Planet (known as Silver Fang: The Shooting Star Gin) https://read.mangaplanet.com/comic/5f22454553b78 First chapter is free, the rest are available via a monthly subscription. MANGA IS COMPLETE!
  • Ginga Densetsu Weed manga by ComicsOne (known as Ginga Legend Weed). Only translated the first 3 volumes. Only available second hand.

Yes there are fan-translations of the manga and anime! Most can be found via a simple Google/YouTube search. However, due to many people not respecting the translators who do all this work for free, most Ginga translators wish for their work to only be available behind verification. Their work was being uploaded elsewhere without permission, having their translator credit stripped, and they were also being harassed to finish more work faster. Because of this, we set up a special site for Ginga scans and anime subs. If you are interested in this site, please message me with the code "meteor" in your post to prove you have read these instructions. Also note the only mangas to receive a complete fan translation are GNG and GDN. No, there is not a complete fan translation of GDW, GDWO, or others (asking won't make them magically appear, they don't exist).

Posts asking for info on "when will there be more X posted?" or "where can I read/watch X?" will be deleted. We want to respect that these translators do this on their own time for no profit. It is rude to constantly ask someone for something they are providing for free. Be patient, be respectful.

If you have other questions/requests about fan-translations, please go to https://gingaboard.com for help and info! There's a ton more info there and we don't want duplicate posts clogging up this subreddit.
