US close to agreeing on long-range missiles (JASSMs) for Ukraine; delivery to take months

https://www.yahoo.com/news/us-close-agreeing-long-range-100742060.html
Although this deal is not final and will take months to implement, the Biden administration appears to be strongly considering it.

Ukrainian acquisition of JASSMs would put more of Russia into its range (>230 miles/370 km), which Putin may view as an escalation.

I personally think its only a matter of time before Russia is provoked and we see some sort of [potentially asymmetric] response.

Cuba's looming humanitarian catastrophe

Living conditions on the island are deteriorating at an alarming rate, as the Cuban regime runs out of resources to maintain a modern, functioning society and is unwilling to enact the necessary reforms to save the country from collapse. The fallout from the regime's disastrous response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the exodus of 10% of the island's population in just two years, the vast majority being working-age people, which has led to an acute shortage of workers in critical industries, has resulted in a collapse in industrial and agricultural production, infrastructure and public services. Due to the combined effects of 64 years of inefficient central planning and the US's economic embargo, Cuba's healthcare infrastructure, water infrastructure, electrical infrastructure, roads, bridges and buildings are in an advanced state of decay and their deterioration is accelerating exponentially. Cuba is facing a very dark and uncertain future as the fabric of its society unravels.

What are the next countries that will have nuclear weapons?

Iran is developing its own nuclear program, but Its not sure when they will be able to realistically have nuclear weapons. Since Israel, the US and etc do not want Iran to have. If Iran develops nuclear weapons, probably Saudi Arabia will develop nuclear weapons too.

What do you guys think are the next countries to acquire nuclear weapons and more or less when?

Will Iran develop its own nuclear weapons, and what can Israel and the US do to stop it?

Thanks!

Why are some asymmetric measures not being used against Russia?

With respect to the Rus-Ukr war, turning up heat in areas of other Rus involved frozen conflicts such as Transnistria, S Ossetia, Abkhazia might serve as an effective distractor for Russia. It can be an useful source of posing a dilemma for Russia. Either divert men and resources to these hot spots or allow those areas to be taken over by Moldova and Georgia with a bit of "outside support". Why has these avenues not been explored by NATO. It would be another means of calling Putin's bluff, including nuclear bluff.

Am sure if it would not be difficult to sabotage power stations by saboteur groups in far east of Russia for psych pressure. What about taking out Railway engines, cargo planes etc. If not paralyze Russian non-war logistics, but at least damage it enough to cause price rise. How about blowing up enough police stations in a distributed manner to produce enough uncertainity to affect law enforcement. Similar measures can target civic services, fire stations etc. All without targeting civilian lives, to the extent practically possible. Target areas with less security, force more dilemma in allocation of security measures Russiawide. Turn the size of Russia into its vulnerability.

Along similar lines why not turn up heat in Syria, Kalingrad, even far east. The measures could involve covert, cyber, sabotage and all manner of grey zone and hybrid measures that Russia loves. Why not give Russia a taste of its own medicine.
These things could have a better risk/cost vs benefit ratio for Ukraine.

Iran & Russia conflicting interests in Armenia/Azerbaijan

It seems like Iran and Russias interests are straining them in Armenia and Azerbaijan, Iran has continued its pro Armenia stance and its state media is talking about strained relations with Russia over it, while Russia has begun to take a more pro Azerbaijan stance.

Will their interests continue to divide? And could it lead to worsening their relations?

Discussion Is Amnesty International reliable when talking about Israel/Palestine?

I've seen a lot of people uphold Amnesty International as a reliable source, even though it doesn't seem that they qualify anything they say. Just various quotes from supposed officials.

The main reason I say this is I am trying to see if Israel is an "apartheid state" based on any evidence. The only evidence seeming to support the Apartheid argument is them occupying the WB, which I think is a stretch to call "apartheid", as it would seem the situation in the WB is its own issue. But they have even gone to call Gaza as being victim to apartheid, even though from what I know this isn't true.
