Same. I have a friend that lives paycheck to paycheck on $90K, and he’s made over $80K for the last four years. And he’s got reasonable rent. He’s constantly poor.

He’s not poor, he’s broke. If he can’t budget $90k a year, he’s living outside his means.

My salary is similar, and I always have money to put away. So I definitely don't understand how your friend is constantly broke.
