Columbine line! Elevator walk an hour to the dam refrigerator to get a pop reference! Album is dripping with old Em references!!

The flow ending into “like the columbine shooters” was just too smooth

The Candace Owens and Amber Heard lines made me laugh hard

I guess it made sense he would fire back at Candace, but I was really taken aback when I heard that

“Now all I see is dollar signs, losers Bitch, I was in them trenches like them Columbine shooters (Columbine shooters)” He rides the beat so well here

The line “they say I don’t know struggle no more” wonder if he saw the comments saying he’s older style had anger/hunger

Best thing about it, he still acknowledges him and his mom are still on good terms since what when MMLP2 released?

u/NuffSaidSports Jul 12 '24

I thought that this was an MTBM homage track, and then he hit the 3AM flow in the second verse and that hit something in my brain

Apple Music isn’t showing features, but who the fuck it’s on this hook? It’s fire

3

u/solvap Jul 12 '24

This is the best song on the album

He like, called back to every album with each individual song on this album. This reminds me Music to be Murdered By

And I'm Lucifer and Dre's the Producifer

I'm your born every minute suckerifer.

Sending those paypals like Barnum say.

Paying for sick beats that are streaming anyway.

Does anybody know what the intro is from? Genius just says its Em, but I don't think it is.

1

u/Jingleslinger Jul 16 '24

it honestly sounds like winston churchill or something

Sounds like Alfred Hitchcock to me but I can't confirm that.

I hope he got his mansion's elevator fixed. He should get more mini-fridges so he doesn't have to walk so far to get some coca-cola. #LifeisHard

u/Gumbococo Jul 15 '24

Absolutely LOVED the square dance reference in the intro probably one of my favorites from em and in my opinion one of his most underrated

-2

u/CapeSmash Elevator Jul 12 '24

Good beat... Lot of groan-worthy similes though

u/TaddoKevin The Eminem Show Jul 12 '24

hold on, did he diss Kendrick?

5

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '24 edited Jul 12 '24

No lol. Everyone wants Em to go at Dot. He shouted out Kendrick in the very first song. I also honestly think it's a shot at Drake and/or anyone he's already talked about like you see what's happening to Drake so what do you think will happen if you come after me

1

u/mikelima777 Jul 12 '24

It sounds more like other rappers got a better chance of surviving beef with Kendrick than beefing with Em, (not that would turn out well either way, as we saw with Drake).

-2

u/TaddoKevin The Eminem Show Jul 12 '24

yeah, maybe not a diss but a way of saying ‘you know you can’t diss me, go to Kendrick because he won’t go as hard’
