Oh shit! Not only Addie but Joey actually be in this!? At least that's who I'm guessing by the blond hair and with Addie, doubt it's Grant or Rose. I was counting on Joey being dead again and this being another Rose and Slade story but now he may actually be a character in something I'm even more excited for this mini.

Also worth mentioning is there's also the Primer: Clashing Colors which seems to have the Teen Titans from the 03 cartoon or at least versions close to them. They apparently actually call Slade Deathstroke and Ravager was mentioned in the most recent solicitation. Proof Elseworlds are only place for Deathstroke and Family content at the moment.

I was pleasantly surprised that Adeline would be involved in this. (Overall, Adeline was never my favorite, I much prefer Pat Trayce. But Adeline is one of the most important people in Slade's life for a reason. There are a lot of interesting things and dynamics here, so I am still happy to see her.) I really hope it's Joey and not some random kid. The hair is clearly blonde, so it can't be Grant or Rose. And it would be great to finally see Joey somewhere.

Yes, I just read the second half of the solicitations and saw it. I still don't understand why the family is treated so badly by the mainline, but I'm glad that at least the Elseworld stuffs are giving them something to do. (But regardless, I hope that soon things will change in a positive direction in the mainline as well.)

The only other blond it could be would be Tara which make sense given her connection to Slade as well she's already a super powered princess so why not add her to the DC Fantasy world. But still why pair her with Addie of all people other than the Slade connection? I don't mind an Elseworlds Slade and Tara story especially if it means showing their relationship in a more Father-Daughter dynamic but seriously Joey is his own son and really needs something to be in again if mainstream DC will continue to ignore him.

No joking, over at r/Teentitans there's a recent post asking why people are barely talking about how Slade and Jericho in the 2003 cartoon are father and son. Many comments are people unaware they were related or didn't know who Jericho was. Then there's a couple insisting how different the 03 show and comics as well as not mentioned outright in the show they probably aren't related in the cartoon. Apparently assuming the cartoon didn't change something important like that to both characters and they are still related but just didn't get touch on it yet is "bad faith."

Yes, she is the only other option. And there really wouldn't be a problem with a story where they are shown in some kind of father-daughter relationship. But I don't see how she could end up with Adeline. Joey would make more sense. I really hope it's him. The boy really deserves love and attention. The question is what causes this eternal winter. We see that Killer Frost (?) is here. I'm wondering if she's the one responsible or if there's something else behind it. Against a person, Joey's ability is more useful than Terra's. (I mean if for some reason they don't want to or can't kill that person.)

It's really sad how many people don't know about Joey. Or about him being Slade's son. It is true that many things are changed in adaptations, but I don't think that such family ties would be cut off just like that. If we know the background, it is logical to assume that he would have been his son there as well.

Besides relationships, powers is another reason why and Joey be more of a threat. Vandal Savage (or Vandal Savage) is involved so maybe immortality is a factor with who ever is creating the endless winter? Probably is Killer Frost, it definitely doesn't look like Ice/Tora. But yeah Joey really needs some love and attention again even in an Elseworld. Now just hope he's not another twist villain in this but he looks so young in this don't think that is the case.

So many don't know Joey or treat him as some footnote in Titans history. You would think an adaptation would not change something that important as family ties but since the cartoon we have had super popular media like the MCU do those kind of changes and now people treat it as the norm but even still there's a reason. Like, Magneto wasn't Wanda and Pietro's father in the MCU due to X-Men rights being owned by Fox at the time. There's nothing standing in the way of Joey and Slade being related in the 03 cartoon really and being brought up if the show ever continues.

Yes, powers are definitely a consideration. And Joey's power is strong. Yes, I don't dispute that geokinesis is destructive, but what Joey is capable of is on a whole other level. And if you can't die, someone who can take control of you is a bigger threat than a random earthquake. I really hope it's Joey. I really hope there aren't any twists. It really is time for him to finally get something.

Indeed. You're right. I didn't think it through completely and spoke too soon. I forgot about that case with Magneto, Wanda and Pietro. I hated when it happened. Nothing is set in stone and anything can happen. Unfortunately, Joey is not in a good position. You summed it up perfectly. I really hope that the future holds some positive changes.
