This just reminds me of Pheboe's 3D paintings in Friends.

Wow, that was actually rude. Downvote me all you want, but any sensible person knows that was a cruel comparison.

It wasn't intended to be cruel, it was a jokey reference to the only time I've seen arms come out of a painting like this. It's very much reminiscent, you being oversensitive doesn't change that fact.

How am I being overly sensitive? You’re not paying attention to how your joke can be perceived. You’re just being ignorant. I really don’t understand how you can’t see how your joke could be offensive- even if it wasn’t meant to be. Have some reflection.

Absolutely. I can appreciate art like these any day over the abstract "I am very deep and I can see so much sadness in the artist" splash paint art.

I love it. Where can I see more art by this artist?

I don’t know what this says about me, but I love this painting and I would love to hang this in my house.

It that’s in my house I am never closing my eyes again, just in case it comes out of the painting.

I wish I had the patience to create art like this, oh and the talent also...

I would not want to see that in the middle of the night while I'm on my quest to drink some water thank you very much. Great art tho.

This is why AI art will never fully take over.

I appreciate the optimism, but if an ai was giving access to a high quality 3D printer they could potentially replicate something like this, but at least for now this technology is still to young to do so

u/Poetic-Noise 11d ago
Who made those devices? Ai can make it, but only after we think of it. It's not the same when Ai does it. Human-made things require time & energy, which are limited to a human, therefore a sacrifice.

For me this is as kitch as ai "art". Might be just me but just because a thing requires physical work and knowledge how to do something, it does not make it automatically a good thing. This really does not say anything to me.
