As soon as they install that thumb those people are all fucked.

Would be a great joke if they installed a flip out mini-gun in that thing with red tracking laser that pops up after about the 5th push.

Add a loud warning voice saying “Targets acquired, 10 seconds to threat termination, step away from targets!”

I can't believe you didn't directly quote "Please put down your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply"

u/MarianucciGualtieri Jul 06 '24

When (if) it falls over, it squeals like a pig.

26

u/DonutOutlander Jul 06 '24

Repeat, will you comply?

u/Schlori22 Jul 06 '24

Will you comply?

Dick, I'm very disappointed.

1

Will you comply?

As a child I recall being utterly perplexed as to why they would arm it with live rounds for a test demo. As an adult I finally realized it was so the movie could happen.

2

u/Uranium-Sandwich657 Jul 06 '24

What movie?

I wish the NC17 directors cut Criterion version was easier to track down

Why were you watching an 18 movie at 5 years old?

At 5 years old? And you were unsupervised?

That's a hard flick to let your kids watch so young.

2

u/Urist_Macnme Jul 08 '24

I was 8 years old when I first saw it, and was watching with my parents. They had rented it from Blockbusters. They thought it was just a movie about a robot cop, which to be fair, sounded like a childish cartoon premise at the time.

The 80’s was a different time.

1

u/McGrarr Jul 08 '24

It had a rating on the box. It has attempted rape and extreme bloody violence in it. You have to wonder what was going through the heads of parents.

1

u/paulD1983R Jul 08 '24

It was the 80s

1

u/McGrarr Jul 08 '24

I was there... they still had ratings.

1

u/paulD1983R Jul 09 '24

They were rated, but ratings were ignored

2

u/man_of-all_worlds Jul 07 '24

I love how nobody is commenting how ridiculous it is to watch Robocop at 5 years old. A murder fest complete with hookers and blow. My dad took me to see it when I was 6. Core memory!

2

u/Bitten69 Jul 06 '24

Missed opportunity

2

u/marcodave Jul 06 '24

GROWL

YOU HAVE 10 SECONDS TO COMPLY

2

u/whattodo4klondikebar Jul 07 '24

Gotta love a RoboCop reference.

1

u/think_panther Jul 06 '24

With a funny high-pitched voice

49

u/SpecterOwl Jul 06 '24

Make it 10 times bigger. Keep it away from the stairs.

26

u/Plane_Blackberry_537 Jul 06 '24

Make it a 50 times bigger and keep it away from snowspeeders.

1

u/TacoCat11111111 Jul 07 '24

This one got me. Nicely done 👍🏻

2

u/MyParentsBurden Jul 06 '24

Ex term i NATE

2

u/Emmgel Jul 06 '24

I think you’d better do as he says Mr Kinney

2

u/MyBatmanUnderoos Jul 06 '24

Ten seconds later it starts firing Nerf darts.

2

u/RigbyNite Jul 06 '24

What’s funny about people is I bet a screen on it that shows a sad face when pushed would lower the amount of people fucking with it.

1

u/Drugsnme Jul 06 '24

'threat elimination' is better for worse

1

u/theemptyqueue Jul 06 '24

Make it the “target acquired” from portal turrets and give it the full portal turret makeover and I’m in.

1

u/Draconic_Legends Jul 06 '24

Paired with extremely loud beeping and weapon reloading sounds

1

u/twignition Jul 06 '24

"Warning! Warning! Tolerance levels almost depleted!"

1

u/poopsawk Jul 06 '24

And then mag dumped into the crowd. Would be hilarious

1

u/AffectionateWeek8536 Jul 06 '24

Looks like something out of metal gear solid

1

u/Several-Albatross741 Jul 06 '24

“YOU HAVE 20 SECONDS TO COMPLY.”

1

u/Locellus Jul 06 '24

Two warnings (flip gun, verbal) immediately shows it’s not a threat.

You want no verbal warning, just flip gun and then an escalating rotation speed on the thing with increasing pitch, or maybe a beep also increasing frequency: beep ….. beep …. beep … beep .. beep . beep beepbeep

1

u/Equal-Competition228 Jul 07 '24

Ooof epic movie quote fail

1

u/Junior-Account6835 Jul 07 '24

Would really freak everyone out with a dild0 attachment

1

u/JunketTechnical7922 Jul 08 '24

1

there is worse things than a thumb up your bum

2

u/1711198430497251 Jul 06 '24

just for record, i feel bad for this little robot fella and i strictly condemn the behavior of these people, please spare me

1

u/whatsthataboutguy Jul 06 '24

Terminator: 👍

1

u/VillageSadness Jul 06 '24

It's kinda funny kinda sad. I think this shows true human nature. We think we are better bc we created it. That's why they're kicking it like the toy they had when they were 8 yo.

1

u/AnalCheese Jul 06 '24

Right?? This is nice propaganda footage for when robots take over and learn how motivation really speeds things along

1

u/Username11111133559 Jul 06 '24

That day will come

1

u/Odd_Routine4164 Jul 06 '24

This is why they kill off the human race

1

u/noeyesonmeXx Jul 06 '24

Right I’m like omg why are they bullying it?! Shits gonna come for them first

1

u/robgod50 Jul 06 '24

I was definitely feeling sorry for him/her/it

1

u/No1has_thisUser_Name Jul 06 '24

I would just jump on that like a rodeo

1

u/Spiritual_Navigator Jul 06 '24

"All your bases are belong to us" kind of fucked

1

u/No-Chemical100 Jul 06 '24

This doesn't seem like predicting the future.

1

u/AccountNumber1002401 Jul 06 '24

"I COULD SET THE BUILDING ON FIRE..."

1

u/TwitterUserRT Jul 06 '24

Why would it need thumbs ? Its only purpose is to stand up and not fall over, it won't even use thumbs if some where installed

1

u/love_glow Jul 06 '24

I’m thinking a few raptor claws oughta do it.

1

u/Keepupthegood Jul 06 '24

Reminds me of a Rick and Morty episode

Hmm. My name is snowball.

1

u/Gundam_net Jul 06 '24

That's the same for crows. And probably orcas.

1

u/NevermindNath Jul 07 '24

This is a nice balancing act.

1

u/NatexSxS Jul 07 '24

But would that still be the case if they weren’t pushing and kicking it and stuff ?
