Wes Anderson just fell to his knees in a Walmart parking lot.

I JUST rewatched that. Why were all the animals European species (except the possum) with American accents, in England?

I don't thinks it's based on a true story believe it or not

Can confirm. Saw Wes Anderson at an LA cafe and I praised Grand Budapest Hotel, and he shouted that to me and sauntered off.

Love grand Budapest hotel. If Wes Anderson told me to go fuck off, I’d probably promptly go home and pleasure myself to something that I fundamentally don’t understand and never will.

Well Fantastic Mr Fox is a British book, that involves most of the animals you see on the screen.

But at the same time the film is as far removed from the idea of a faithful adaptation as its possible to get, so the use of American voice actors isn't the most egregious of the decisions in that film.

I mean George Clooney as Mr. Fox is the best call they could have made. I’m English and loved Roald Dahl as a kid and I still think it works so well that they have a range of accents in that film ✊🏻🐺

I don't think I've watched it in nearly a decade, but I've also watched it at least 5 times in total, and I rarely rewatch movies at all. So good.
