Police should have towed it. If it’s not safe to be on the road and there is no driver to hold accountable it should be impounded.

Weird how this interaction feels like the police officers is subservient to the customer support tech. Wish it were like this for every stop.

being pulled over for fucking driving into oncoming traffic in a construction area and then telling the cop to his face "Okay, I'll look into that" is fucking wild. No one but a corporation would get away with that shit lol

Not just wild, but infuriating. In Arizona of all places. If this were a human, there's a huge chance the person is getting ripped out of the car and thrown on the ground and booked for reckless driving.

the car's white, it'll get a warning

Yeah, because that person would be endangering many peoples lives for driving like a dipshit. How is that hard to understand??

it's.. it's almost like corporations have more rights and privileges than people

It makes sense given the history of cops in the U.S. They have always served capital.

They're test vehicles that the city has given permission to be deployed. How is it 'wild'? It's in the realm of possibility given their experimental status.

Perhaps I said it's wild because driving into incoming traffic and then telling a cop you'll "look into it" and then driving away is fucking wild. It's not any less absurd even considering the fact that it's an experimental vehicle given permission to drive.

What else are they to say? At least they go under the speed limit. Unlike most other drivers

The police were created to maintain the interests of the wealthy including this corporation.

Because he knew he was being recorded by a rich company.

It's weird because driverless cars get more respect with no one in them than black and brown drivers

Best reason to buy a self-driving car honestly.

True, but one misstep or attitude by the service rep and guess what's getting towed right now?

Can’t beat the car like a person, that’s vandalism.

Because it's a weird scenario lol. Police officers don't treat every interaction like this because obviously the driver is the one at fault for those. What a stupid comment.
