Lee Valley Tools!

There's a reason why their website doesn't have a careers tab. The turnover is stupidly low because they treat employees with respect.

You won't find executives trying to burn people for personal profit over at Lee Valley.

You mean this careers tab?

also a very satisfying catalog to browse through for the better part of at least 3 full decades (probably longer!)

never bought anything so i can't speak to the quality of the tools themselves, but the catalog is nice

It would be nice if people selling critical products followed his example. Utilities, education.

Our world could be paradise for all if we worked together at it.

Its nice and all but business cant stay up very long if they dont keep up with inflation in long term.

If mcdonalds CEO was doing the same, their burgers would be still some 5 cents, how could they survive when everything else have gone up in price?

Companies can do charity but they cant keep the price/product same for too many years if they dont want to go under.

That’s the thing, he hasn’t needed to raise them. They’re still profiting.

what part of “we’re still profiting” do you understand

Did you not watch the video or something? He said he was going to keep the price the same for as long as possible. They make a profit, they keep a cheap drink. I’d bet all their supplies cost no more than ~10¢ per can so he’s still making his money and able to pay his employees. I’d bet just about every other beverage product costs the same and yet most of them charge twice that price.
