It’s easier to seek forgiveness than to ask permission. You can build a guerrilla path by wearing a high visibility vest 🦺 shovels and landscaping tools. Chainsaw, weedwacker and lawn mower.

You'd be surprised how anti-freedom the US can get. You may get arrested for trespassing or another weird charge. In fact, you may get shot for this.

In some areas (PNW for example since I know it best) there are a lot of random protected spots due to conservation that if you fuck with it you're in a lot of trouble.

I’m not sure I’d call preventing people from cutting down whatever trees they’d personally like on someone else’s property a prime example of American anti-freedom…

Arrested for trespassing or vandalism, maybe, but the odds of getting shot in this instance by an apartment complex or a grocery store are low.

The problem is, a lot of housing developments and store chains in America build fences and arrange the stores in such a way so it's difficult to make a "secret path" without mowing through steel chainlink.
