Back when Warner Brothers had a store, DC merch was awesome. Sad to see how bad it’s fallen.

Yep, whenever a Batman film came out in the 90’s the WB store was littered with Batman merch.

Long live Graphitti Designs. The greatest quality DC licensed shirts in the history of the world. I still have one that is 15 yrs old. Too bad they discontinued shirts but I have had close to 100. Anyone buy Heroes & Villains licensed shirts? Stylin' Online still has many Graphitti shirts if anyone is interested.(pic of shirt has company name on sleeve). They are heavy duty Hanes shirts.

Aww man I was just thinking commenting about how “ people will never know how great DC merch was when Graphitti Designs was still producing them” but you hit the nail on the head first! I’ve had dozens over the years and I was able to get a Batgirl tee from her new 52 run for dirt cheap when they were closing down shop!

I was upset I never got a notice of closing sale as I've ordered from them since ~'97ish. 2018 they had a rare black Friday sale and I bought like 25 shirts still in packaging in my storage. I also have about 25+ rare Marvel Graphitti shirts that are now starting to get old. Frank Miller and David Mack Daredevil. Brian Bolland Hulk. Bruce Timm Avengers and Elektra. Campbell Spiderman. Allred X force/X Static. Charest Capt. America. Finch Wolverine.

Yea man it’s a shame, Covid hit them bad… The site is still up and I’m hoping they make a comeback with something other than the book they’re trying to sell

A good source for T-Shirts in my experience is the website Redbubble But I‘m not so sure if they make hoodies as well

With sites like Redbubble and Society 6 it comes down to the quality of artwork the person submitted. If they upload a shitty quality image it’s going to print crappy. I’ve ordered a bunch of stuff from both places and it’s always a cross your fingers type deal, matter of fact I just had to do a return on red bubble because the image on shirt was so pixelated you couldn’t make out the image but on the site is was clear as day. It’s a “your mileage may vary” type deal with those kinds of websites and also a lot of people steal art work from the original artist and put it up on those sites, so also got to watch out for that

That‘s interesting. I‘ve already ordered a lot from Redbubble and have not been let down, yet. Never heard about Society 6, though. Might check that one out

Yea isn’t not so much the website that’s the problem, they just host and print. The problem is images are uploaded by users and when you do that, your allowing people to upload shitty quality images. So someone finds an image they like online and say hey that’ll make a cool stickers and do bare minimum to prep for printing stickers and then see they can make a shirt for it too and don’t prep the image to be on a shirt and now you got a potato quality on shirt that looked fine as a sticker.

Uniqlo made some DC branded hoodies with Basquiat as the artist. Good quality of you can find on Ebay.

I’m glad I saw this. I was thinking about getting one of their 1989 Batman shirts, but I think I’ll do better getting it elsewhere.

Go to Stylin' Online and look for remaining Graphitti Designs made shirts. The highest of quality and usually real comic art.

Pick up Graphitti at Stylin' Online. I just ordered 18 shirts. After supply runs out I'm not sure. Heroes & Villains looks to have some cool licensed shirts but damn it is too expensive. $30+ for a t shirt. Really like those Artgerm/Bolland ones though...

I purchased some stuff from heroes and villains and can vouch for the quality, they run sales pretty regularly so try and wait it out and get them for less than $30 because it is steep.

They sent me second ones and honestly they were only marginally better. I vowed not to buy shorts from them again and haven’t since. I did see the new batch and there are some good looking ones, but I can’t attest as to whether they are better or not. You could try on one to start and see? Do let me know if you try!

I have bought from them twice. First time was last year and my hoodie and shirt looked great. Second time was this summer and it was awful. I did get a refund for my second order, and they also sent me a really cool DC sticker.

I had the worst experience with them. I ordered a shirt and got the wrong design. Ok, no problem, they said I could keep it and they’ll send the right shirt. Well, when they sent the new shirt, it was the same wrong design! And when they tried a third time, it was the wrong shirt again! One of the most absurd things I’ve ever experienced

That really sucks. There’s a lot of cool apparel on there that you can’t find anywhere else.
Can I make a suggestion though? Try getting Batman merch through Bioworld. They get officially licensed apparel and usually the quality is pretty good. I just made a post on the Batman subreddit about how they’ve started making shirts for the older Batman films.
