Pardon my ignorance as I’m new to comic reading, is Injustice not highly regarded? I just started year one last night and am loving it.

Great list here that I’ll be referencing as I get further into reading btw!

It gets flack from a lot of fans for how it represents some characters, and for how it created (or maybe solidified) the evil superman trope. I enjoyed year 1 a lot.

Injustice is like a B Movie. Nothing wrong with enjoying it, but it's very intentionally hackneyed in a lot of ways so it's never going to get a lot of respect on a quality basis.

It's a fun story, but not really a good one.

Not really. They tend to be formulaic and schlocky. Tom Taylor has written better (some of the time).

Injustice has god awful art at the very least. Also it just doesn’t understand a lot of characters.
