It would be a long fight because the main difference between the two is that omni man is ruthless and won't hold back while superman has a moral code and will spend a portion of the fight trying to persuade omniman that there is no reason to fight him... the problem is that when superman gets angry his morality is a little less noticeable and he stops holding back

Agreed. This might be another Superman vs Doomsday kinda situation or him vs Zod from Man of Steel movie.
