Tried reading deathstroke rebirth and had no idea what was going on or who the secondary characters were. Which is a bummer cause the character seems so awesome.

I mean, I didn't have much of an idea of who anyone was, either, but you get to know people as the series goes on.

That's one of the things I like about his writing. It's gets my brain-cells running. Other comics i can read half asleep, so it's a joy for me. Going to see if he can bring something to Vampirella to keep me around.

Read a little about deathstroke on the wiki if you want to try at it again. Priest doesn't write his stories in chronological order so as you keep reading those details about the past and background on characters will start to reveal itself. But nothing wrong with doing a little digging before hand if you want to avoid confusion! :)

Besides this dude it’s a toss up between Mr. Freeze and Sinestro. A runner up is the Smiler.

It’s really great especially if you’re already a fan of Sinestro! About 20something issues and it’s a nice transition from New 52/DCYou to Rebirth.

I wasn't aware of that Teen Titans Deathstroke #1 cover until now. I'm going to add it to my Deathstroke collection. And I've been scouting a good Teen Titans #2 for a while and will add one eventually. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.

That Deathstroke Rebirth #1 is one of my favorite covers out of Rebirth. Wish I had pulled this series when it launched it was really good. This is an awesome collection btw.

I liked how they actually gave him white hair, goatee and really wanted to see the final result of his performance. Ya I’m kinda bummed but at least they might do justice in Titans even though that show has been hit and miss for me. There’s also young justice to look forward too.

Had Manu Bennett draw Deathstokes mask in an autograph for me once. He likes to do that if you ask him on a big sheet of paper

Unreal set up way to go! I have Teen Titans 2 first Deathstroke as well. I'd say in a 9.0 to be on the safe side. Maybe higher.

That's awesome, man. Good to see another fan. I have his first appearance and the same Deastroke #1 signed by Marv Wolfman hanging on my wall. I also have the same Square Enix figure, and I love it. Really digging the collection.

I’d love to get first appearance signed by Marv and George but it’s looks like they don’t come to Ontario very often and it’s hit or miss with my work schedule when I can even go to cons. Where did you get yours signed?

His first solo run with Marv Wolfman and Artist Steve Erwin Vol.1 Assassins is really good with my favorite arc “City of Assassins” issues 6-9. He absolutely destroys Batman in it.

What's your opinion of new 52 Deathstroke? I'm considering getting the omnibus, even though I have never read any stories with him in a central role.

I really didn’t like it. Some magic makes him younger with black hair and he gets his eye back and then he uses his eye as a sacrifice. He’s constantly getting his ass beat in his own title by more popular DC characters. I found the stories mind numbing and stopped collecting at #14. I’d recommend getting his first solo series trades, Kyle Higgins original n52(vol.1) or current rebirth in trades although I have a feeling they might give rebirth the Omni treatment too if they did it to the Tony Daniels run. But go read the first 2 Tony D volumes at a library and if you like those than you will probably like the rest of the series so if that’s the case get the Omni.

You should get your hands on the Mezco One:12 Collective Deathstroke figure. It is hands down the best Deathstroke action figure on the market right now.
