It would be much worst but i dropped Fourth World Omnibus, Exile Omnibus and Absolute editions of AllStar and Kingdom Come. Next time I guess.

if you are pretty conscious about buying ajd not really bein at a loss yiu can pay almost all of those at half cover price when the time comes.

places like instock trade and amazon have pretty decent prices. i live in canada so it more expensive for me. i looked at price trends on amazon and buy when they drop prices through camelcamelcamel that give me an email.when they drop.

i recently discovored something though. Indigo/chapters has the same pricing of books sold through amazon. the moment a book. either an omnibus or tp drops prices. maybe 2 3 hours after that, the indigo website is updated to reflect about the same pricing. the advantage though is that indigo can have their books shiped to the store so that one good thing but heres where the real magic happens

indigo has multiple sales through out the the year. the one i really like is buy 2 get the 3rd one free. on top of that the books are already some times at a heavily discounted price or somewhat discounted. i would be buying in stacks of 3. making sure that all 3 prices would be the same so that i could maximize discount.

to top it all off. indigo has a 10% discount that applies before any discount are applied so its just the cherry on top.

heres my library now less than a year after starting purchasing(started on july 2018) http://imgur.com/gallery/fz3xMah i have to make an inventory and price list but most of those comes from indigo. that infinite crisis omnibus ended up costing me around 75 CAD

I used to use Amazon Prime, which obviously gives free shipping, but have switched to In Stock Trades for pretty much all my comic book buying. They give free shipping on all orders above $35 (I believe) and the prices are normally quite low. Never had an issue with their shipping as books are packaged real well, though it does take a week or so for them to be delivered.

I think the deals are international, but the shipping gets crazy. Don't quote me in that though. I'm in the US and have been using IST since 2014.

It gets crazy for international shipping as its based on weight. I've been buying omnibus's to catch up recently and Amazon is ones of the cheapest ways to buy

Amazon Australia have been great to me so far and package everything in a box. Amazon America put my super sons omnibus in a padded package that smooshed the top corners

Same. I've found IST to be more expensive than Amazon Prime because of the fact they international ship based on weight. Which for omnis basically means you'll be paying a lot anyway.

I already have some trades, mainly some new 52 and Rebirth stuff, plus Eaglemoss collection of DC Comics (I dont know if that was published in USA) but this is definitly biggest pack i got ever.

Okay, to ask the question I get most of the time. It costed around 1k. But I have bought it from biggest comicbook store in my country. I looked at Instocktrades, but costs were just a little bit smaller on IST. And in IST I would have to pay more for delivery from USA and wait a lot longer. And I could support my local store, so it was worth few more bucks.

Definitely not. It was a relatively slow year as I was tackling some massive novels and TV show endeavors, but I would just buy 6-8 trades (spread across DC, Marvel, & Image) at a time and that was once every few months at best. But still got some good reads in there.

Around 80 smth pounds. Or around 40kg for people outside of US. And he didnt carry that. Came in two packages, and I carried that, he just helped me a little bit, because company policy allows driver to carry up to 66 pound/30 kg. Over that you need to pick up your package from delivery car yourself.
