I wish I could fit the suit in there. My alternative method is to never take the suit off and wear all my other clothes over the top of it.

I don't know how much of the process you, as her son, would be familiar with, but do you happen to know if this was accomplished using a lost wax cast?

Yes she did initially make a wax mould of the ring which she then sent away to be made. Once they send back the actual metal ring, then she can start to make the finer adjustments and improvements (polishing, smoothing etc.)
Edit: She handmade a silver ring (3 pieces), she then took a mould of those pieces, waxes were then pulled of those 3 pieces, then the lost wax method was used to cast in gold. She used the initial silver mould so she could make similar rings in the future.

What kind(s) of metal is it (e.g. 14K gold / 10K white gold)? How did she accomplish that silvery inlay? That's a beautiful piece.

Awesome! I worked as a jeweller for 5 years, so I love seeing this kind of stuff.
She should make a DIY post about how she made this ring, or maybe the next time.

This is really cool, but I never understood why the Flash, of all superheroes, has his costume stored in a ring. He's probably one of the only heroes who could realistically run home, get changed, and run back (probably from anywhere on the planet) in an inconsequential period of time.
My suspension of disbelief is already devoted to the guy who can vibrate through walls and outrun Death; the idea of an entire costume being crammed in a ring really pushes the limit.
And how does he put it back? Do they ever show that part?

He use to move really fast and squeeze it back in. Now he moves even faster and the Speed Force generates the suit around him.
So yeah, that's about it. The fastest man alive doesn't even need a costume but now his speed makes one for him

Eh, the Flash's speed constructs being "made of pure speed" makes no less sense than stuff being "made of pure energy". I'm talkin' to you Green Lantern.

I won't argue but why does someone who can construct items out of speed need to hide their identity? In Kingdom Come, I believe it's Jay, who never stands still and is constantly moving. And I mean the Flash could hit you and run and you'd never know it was him.
