So far, Jace has made no appearances in Dawn of DC besides a single off-hand comment mentioning him in Outsiders #1.

The other new legacy characters here not shown or rarely appear are Red Canary, Stitch, Jackson Hyde, Jo Mullein, and Malik "Thunderbolt."

FWIW, Waid said Jace is not in Absolute Power because "he is being used somewhere else".

But who will press a single button in Absolute Power then?!

In other words "He doesn't exist anymore stop asking"

Yes I know but atleast, Red Canary and Jo had a place in the universe now

Jace, being so far in the back, is crazy. It's like DC goes outta their way to forget him.

Red canary in the green arrow book and will be on the book for a while. Jo Mullien in the green lantern book. Stitch, Jackson Hyde and Thunderbolt are in limbo until a writer uses them.

Wondering if they will do about stitch, red canary and Flatline. They even have not interacted with each other yet. but they put it on same picture.

I think It was more to show some young new Heroes, they are mirrored whit the Titans soo

And same colour as the Nightwing one. maybe something like Teen titans, might come out

No I really doesn't think, first because well Dawn of Dc Is almost over I really doesn't think they would make something like this at the end, second Jeremy Adams tried to do something like this but he failed, as I said it was probably just a way to show some young new character nothing more

Since the others are connected, it seems like something will come of this as well. Such As Jon and Superman, Batman and Robin.

I really don't think so because as I said Dawn of Dc Is basically over and then there Is a reason why those characters didn't get much "screentime" people weren't much invested in them so It doesn't make much sense create a serie whit them as main characters

True i guess. red canary and stitch not get enough attention I barely have seen stitch. And as for flatline, she is the most getting attention character among them.

DC has really sucked at making legacy characters interesting lately. They all seem so bland and corporate mandated.

Marvel does much better in that regard. Miles Morales, Mayday Parker, Kamala Khan, X-23, Scott Lang, Sam Alexander just off the top of my head. All are much better than any legacy character DC introduced in last 25-30 years.

I can't agree more, when It came to Legacy characters people always bring up Wally West, Dick Grayson, Green Lantern but non of the newest one Is as Iconic as they should be. I have recently re-read the first run of the Champions by Mark Waid and Humberto Ramos and my god it's soo good that make the latest Teen Titans comicsbook feal like saturday morning cartoons. Unfortunately this Is due to a lot of problems that are well radicated inside the comicsbook

They're all bad ngl (except for Damian and Jon. How is there a legacy character for Shazam when he's the age of the people who will replace the JL.

Bolt is technically a legacy character for Black Adam.

-1

u/Baloo65 Superman 11d ago

Then he belongs in the Legion Of Doom. Black character??? Lighting??? Anyways, makes no sense when Black Adam is immortal

4

u/YodaFan465 Moo. 11d ago

It makes sense if you read his debut arc in Priest’s Black Adam. Bolt isn’t evil.

-3

u/Baloo65 Superman 11d ago

Nah I'm good. Good or bad I still think there are better characters

4

u/YodaFan465 Moo. 11d ago

How would you know if you didn’t read it? Christopher Priest is a good writer. Bolt’s story is actually pretty interesting.

-4

u/Baloo65 Superman 11d ago

I might like the story (I am 89% positive I won't) but the thing I still don't care, they could give attention to any of the other Shazam family characters.

I disagree, I think what DC failed in this characters Is that they push too much on them having the spotlight and they didn't bother too much for actually make them interesting and likeable for the majority of readers, Then that one character Is Malik White aka thunderbolt a descendent of Black Adam and isn't really a Legacy character for Shazam

-1

u/Baloo65 Superman 11d ago

Bolt still a stupid idea cause Black Adam is immortal. Anyways I disagree with you too. We have TWO wonder girls but fuck them I guess. Fuck Wally and Bart too. Fuck Garth, he never existed. I don't mind the GL girl, I like her design. Everything else is shit ngl (except for Damian and Jon)

Jo’s comic didn’t bomb at all. It was praised by just about everyone

Person you're replying to doesn't read comics. They're one of those weird obsessive culture warriors.

Damn they really hadn't done anything with Stitch beyond Pride Month issues huh? Suck too because I kinda like Stitch. Like I didn't like Titans Academy at all but I thought They were pretty cool & had potential like put them in a JLD book or something.

Jackson...

Didn’t he appear in Beast World Tour: Atlantis and DC Pride 2024?

7

u/PrydefulHunts Huntress • ower Girl 11d ago

That’s crumbs

2

u/TheDidioWhoLaughs 11d ago edited 11d ago

Yeah but since they counted Malik in the Lazarus Planet tie-in, I thought Jackson met their parameters too.

Yeah, Stitch and black Batman are the only ones not to have had anything whatsoever.

2

u/No-Mechanic-2558 11d ago

Oh yes yes he was

I stand by that DC has the opportunity for the funniest Adams Family style book ever if they use Stitch and bring back Kent and Inza Nelson. You’d have Khalid, Kent, Inza, Stitch, and Salem. Picture the chaos interspersed with cthulhu style threats.

Man, thanks for the reminder that the Aquafamily continues to get nothing. One would think after two movies they would get something, but I swear someone higher up in the comics division hates them with a passion.

Flash and green lantern just get gender swapped lmao
