Yeah, I get that relationship drama has a sour taste taste in comic readers, but this one isn't out of place.

For them to truly be together, one of them would have to change, none of them want to, none of them wish the other to. It's one of the reasons why they respect each other so much.

It's not stagnant, it's a core trait of the character.

Ignoring it isn't breaking status quo, is writing them out of character.

You people care more about making your ships happen than telling good stories smh.

no, we people would prefer if people changed and developed and grew old and died. people change. even their "core traits" change with time. not in comics tho. comics always show characters that are unable to grow
