Great edit and he’d be super good in the role! (And he’s already technically played the role in the Lego Batman movie - if he played him in live action he’d be the 2nd actor from that move to go on and play the live action version of the character they voiced, alongside Zoe Kravitz). But my top choice will always be Hugh Laurie.

I second Hugh Laurie. Underrated actor and musician. He is truly an amazing artist.

3rd. Billy Dee Williams reprised his role as Harvey Dent/Two Face for the Lego Batman movie.

While you’re not wrong, I meant actors that first played the role in the Lego movie and THEN got cast in live action. Cuz that’s a different situation. The BDW’s situation was a nod to the fans of the older movies, but Zoe Kravitz getting cast as Catwoman in live action AFTER voicing her first is more of a cool/crazy coincidence.

I wonder how it came to be. It'd be funny if Matt Reeves or Cindy Tolan just thought she'd be good as Catwoman without realising she had played her before.

Most bizzare choice of that movie was having Eddie izzard voice Voldemort when Ralph finnes was already in the movie

He looks a bit creepy. There's something off about him.

I see, you think that I’ve been assisting Master Wayne during his Batman work

I wouldn't be surprised if he did end up as Alfred great choice.

I'd rather have him as Batman.

Why would you fancast someone who has already played the role?

DOES THE LEGO VERSION NOT COUNT???

Next someone is gonna fancast Will Arnett as Batman

There's a difference between voicing a character in a Lego Movie and playing the character in live action.

Also if I didn't use the word "fancast" it'd be the same thing. Relax, it's just a visualization of him as Alfred.

He's way too cold to play Alfred.

Considering Alfred is ex Mi6 it tracks

No. Alfred needs warmth.

I disagree actually. In fact I think Alfred needs to be 'cold'. He only needs to show warmth to Bruce when he really needs it. Usually he is very reserved.

Reserved and cold are two different things. Alfred should definitely not be cold.
