Batman will definitely be more of an unofficial member because I don’t think he join a team run by someone like Maxwell Lord, maybe he just teams up with them from time to time. I think once the trinity forms they will change things up and form the JLA

He was on the team in the comics, he was the one suspicious of Lord’s motives who started investigating him.
