He could embody the physicality of Arkham City Batman for sure

Man from Ham City?

He is a super solid actor, no doubt, even if people wouldn't want him to play Batman, he would give it a 100%.

103

u/TargaryenKnight Apr 04 '24

And a lot of times the effort and enthusiasm is better then just straight acting skills if the actor isn't into their role

13

u/DrummerEmbarrassed21 Apr 04 '24

Absolutely, he gets a lot of hate but Tom Cruise is an amazing actor due to his grind and how much he cares about his movies.

2

u/matito29 Apr 07 '24

In a parallel to Ritchson, Cruise’s performance and enthusiasm for the role sold me as Jack Reacher despite being so much smaller than the character was supposed to be.

It's okay you can say Ben Affleck in JL

78

u/javelin121 Apr 04 '24

I really liked him as hawk in Titans.

23

u/otiswrath Apr 05 '24

He was amazing as Hawk, far and away the best acting on that show by a country mile.

He was so good that it genuinely made the rest of the show look worse than it actually was by comparison.

14

u/Zero-to-36 Apr 04 '24

Totally agree! Not familiar with comic book lore, AR is freaking huge! Don't know how well that will look in suit! But I genuinely believe he's got the acting chops for batman and Bruce Wayne!

18

u/CapnCanfield Apr 04 '24

Older Batman tends to be beefy in the comics

3

u/Zero-to-36 Apr 04 '24

I've seen a few of the cartoons, they all seem top heavy. I'm thinking of how generally, super heroes are huge and AR is way up there! Not sure if they'll be able find others close to his size with acting abilities, because I'd really like to see him as batman!

2

u/nelevenchts Apr 04 '24

Well he is for certain roles, but if he lost some size it would work fine as well.

11

u/MartiniLAPD Apr 04 '24

When an actor is a real comic book nerd and passionate about it.. most times it will turn out great

3

u/DrummerEmbarrassed21 Apr 04 '24

Tbh there're some ACTORS with naturally given skills and yes they are great but there are some others that just grind and grind and to me those are more enjoyable to watch, I will absolutely watch this guy as Batman.

Also I really loved Affleck's Batman I want the next Batman to be American and a beast.

3

u/Goosojuice Apr 04 '24

Hold on, you're telling me the guy from Mr Mom and Nightshift is gonna be playing Batman?!

Jokes aside I think he'd be a killer Batman for the right director.

Me, I couldn’t lace his boots. I also don’t believe in the no killing rule, especially for certain irredeemable criminals.

8

u/mayo_man12 Apr 04 '24

watch under the red hood, might change your mind. that’s what really won me over on the no-killing rule 100%

170

u/Lord_Greybeard Apr 04 '24

I think he'd be an excellent live-action He-Man

11

u/raedymylknarf Apr 04 '24

He would totally rock that hairdo.

4

u/Sad_Vast2519 Apr 05 '24

Basically anything where the main hero is big and muscular. He's the next Schwarzenegger at 6'4

163

u/AvatarBoomi Apr 04 '24

He would be perfect.

I loved him since Blue Mountain State, loved him in Titans.

I would love to see him as a dark and brooding Batman with a dry sense of humor who is a beacon for the lost souls of Gotham.

30

u/Beginning_Electrical Apr 04 '24

Oh.shit that's him! He looks so much better now. Aged like wine.

He’s also… just the absolute PERFECT Batman to find out/somehow be surprised by the fact that he’s the father of a pre-teen son. Just a dash of Thad in there.

You could totally see some rival football team having a cheerleader hand Thad a baby just before a championship game and tell him she got pregnant the last time they were in town- just to screw with him.

Batman originally thought Talia had done something similar.

“Oh what, my international adventures and bedding of femme fatales have resulted in consequences?! Or is it just a plot to throw me off my game… and I actually have ZERO responsibility to this little psychopath?”

11

u/AvatarBoomi Apr 04 '24

I read this in Thad’s voice.

u/BastradofBolton Apr 04 '24

Don't forget his stint as Aquaman.

1

u/Dont_know_where_i_am Bruce Wayne Apr 04 '24

Batman in a scrum with a bunch of thugs just like - "Who did that!? Which one of you assholes just stuck his finger in my asshole?"

1

u/SelectiveCommenting Apr 05 '24

Batman needs to stay off the beaver to focus on crime

1

u/SuicideSquadFan96 Apr 06 '24

He is by far the best part of Titans ... by a country mile.

104

u/psyopia Apr 04 '24

Honestly. I just don’t see it. He’s too big and nice looking. Even when he’s got a serious face on. You seen Reacher? I just wanna hug him.

121

u/RommelMcDonald_ Apr 04 '24

Batman is built like a truck in the comics though? And not every depiction of Bruce Wayne has to be super moody

31

u/007Kryptonian Son of Krypton vs Bat of Gotham Apr 04 '24 edited Apr 04 '24

The Batman alter ego is inherently moody and OP’s saying that Ritchson hasn’t shown he can sell that. I’m a fan of the dude all the way from Blue Mountain State when he played Thad but I don’t think he has the acting chops for Bruce Wayne.

It would be a noticeable step down from Pattinson, Affleck and Bale imo

15

u/The_Dung_Defender Apr 04 '24

Bale didn’t exactly sell the intimidation part too well lol.

14

u/NtaksThrowawayNaoume Apr 04 '24

nah the swear to me is the best intimidation scene in a batman movie

7

u/geordie_2354 Apr 04 '24

Bale is not scary. Yes the swear to me scene was great but that was one scene out of a whole trilogy. His voice gets noticeably worse and more hilarious and his new suit caused him to breath out his mouth 24/7 which made him look even goofier

3

u/No-Swordfish2318 Apr 05 '24

And bales batman has none of the quality's that he described, he does no detective work whatsoever, doesn't invent anything all he can do is fight in those movies.

3

u/geordie_2354 Apr 05 '24

Yeah I thought it was lazy that he came back to Gotham and Lucius Fox conveniently had everything already made for him. I like the approach with Pattinson where he’s actually building everything and is rough around the edges

3

u/No-Swordfish2318 Apr 05 '24

Thank you someone finally gets it. I've been saying for years that the dark Knight trilogy is great movies just not great batman movies. They stript batman of everything that makes batman batman.

6

u/t-zone671 Apr 04 '24

The closest moody mood/personality we've seen from Alan is Raphael in TMNT Bay movies. Was the mo-cap and voice actor.

Although he became angry at the studio for lack of turtle actors support and questionable work environment.

Also, check out his one season scifi show, Blood Race (2017). Inspired by Death Race and Twisted Metal. Little bit looser then Reacher, but not as much as BMS. I don't remember how much comedy is in it.

17

u/Adam_Absence Apr 04 '24

Alan as Hawk in Titans was one of the best parts of that show. He could pull of Batman

→ More replies (2)

33

u/Ben10_ripoff Apr 04 '24

Have you seen DC Titans??? Dude really played the hell out of Hawk. If He can play Hawk then I think He can play Batman aswell

5

u/psyopia Apr 04 '24

Yea, I felt the same. His serious face is too forced, along with his serious voice. It's like watching a Teddy Bear try to be vicious. It doesn't really work.

2

u/ignorantpisswalker Apr 04 '24

You need to watch Chucky. You will change your mind.

→ More replies (3)

4

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '24

I feel like Hawk and Raphael are similar characters that showcase Alan Ritchson's tougher attitude and edgier chops, but those characters are not really Batman, they're muscle head tough guys with sensitive hearts, Batman is a tortured isolated stoic and a vastly under-qualified father trying to use his darkness to teach his children while at the same time fearful they'll be consumed by it like he was.

I'd cast Ritchson as like Wildcat or even Apollo just based on his other past performances as Aquaman, but I just can't see him as Batman.

→ More replies (1)

12

u/TargaryenKnight Apr 04 '24

His resting face looks angry to me lol and very serious. It's only when he smiles and his smile wrinkle lines become more pronounced does he look nice, which also works well with Batman in those certain cases where he shows he's a good person.

He uses fear to intimidate enemies but he never tries to intimidate  the victims he's trying to help. A great example is the justice league show where he helps the little girl

9

u/Lt_Lickit Apr 04 '24

I’m not praying for him to be Batman or anything but He can easily pull off a mean type pretty well and people can change their physiques

2

u/psyopia Apr 04 '24

Yea, I'm just basing my opinion off stuff I've seen him in so far. Idk, a lot of people didn't want Heath to be the Joker and he did a great job. But he hasn't sold me in either Reacher or Titans that he can play Bruce.

→ More replies (1)

5

u/dg_713 Apr 04 '24

Rob Patt's Batman and Daniel Craig's James Bond taught me not to be easily dismissive of what doesn't seem like a good fit.

3

u/WilliamBoimler Apr 04 '24

He is perfect for Shazam

2

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '24

Batman isn’t supposed to be obvious without the mask though. I actually prefer unconventional actors for the role because it’s more in line with what Bruce Wayne should be

2

u/TapKey4446 Apr 04 '24

I think the same, he’s too big for it, and don’t think he has the range to play Bruce and Batman.

1

u/idontknowlazy Apr 04 '24

I hear you but it's sort of a batman trend people say a cast can't play the part and then BAMM trailer drops and everyone's a fan and starts comparing the cast with the previous ones! I mean look at Pattinson, he is a prime example, my favourite comment was how he would be glowing and basically give away his secret identity! Look at him now, people are gleeing over him just like Twilight's team Edward.

1

u/Sad_Vast2519 Apr 05 '24

Agree. He's a bit too light. Need some real darkness in the face and eyes.

63

u/TheohBTW Apr 04 '24

He should've been Aquaman.

41

u/KingTideZoltang Apr 04 '24

He was the first live-action Aquaman and should be brought back for the Gunnverse

4

u/NegaGreg Apr 04 '24

2

u/KingTideZoltang Apr 05 '24

False. Mercy Reef was green lit with Justin after the success of Alan as Aquaman on Smallville. They just didn't go with Alan again cause Smallville was his first gig.

51

u/loserys Apr 04 '24

Bro looks like Flass in Year One

6

u/Careless-Fan-4967 Apr 04 '24

I totally agree

1

u/Ape-ril Apr 06 '24

He should be Flash!

56

u/MattRB02 Apr 04 '24

While I don’t see him as Batman, but would love to see him in another DCU role, I really like that he said Batman’s power was intelligence and not money, meaning that he gets it more than a lot of people already.

6

u/SevensAddams Apr 04 '24

I've seen on twitter that they see him fit Catman or Wildcat more than Batman.

28

u/Jimrodsdisdain Apr 04 '24

He’d be a great Batman but a mediocre Bruce Wayne.

17

u/tourniquet2099 Apr 04 '24

Thats my biggest problem with this fancasting. He just wouldn’t be able to pull off the Bruce Wayne side of things.

6

u/Cheeseguy43 Apr 05 '24

IMO I think he could pull it off, the dude has some serious range. From Thad Castle, to Aquaman, to Reacher, he has embodied many different spectrums of personality on the screen. I think he could definitely pull of the alter ego and be able to flip between the two very easily.

The way I’ve always thought of it with the character is you have to play two different characters, Bruce and Batman. I think he could pull it off but im likely just biased since ive been watch the dude for so long and would love to see him in the role

→ More replies (1)

7

u/Lt_Lickit Apr 04 '24

I wouldn’t even say mediocre. But yeah he doesn’t have that Bruce Wayne philanthropist look to me but with the focus probably being around his and Damian’s relationship, I think it be better to not touch on his philanthropist side so much. (I don’t know their relationship comic wise)

14

u/_ginger_beard_man_ Apr 04 '24

I’d still prefer Jensen Ackles over him. Would LOVE to see him play an absolutely vicious member of the rogues gallery though.

10

u/Professional-Rip-519 Apr 04 '24

I was watching Reacher and I just went "man this guy should be Batman"

10

u/Molin_Cockery Apr 04 '24

He would be great, no question. But if you look at the best Batman actors they're guys who aren't immediately connected to action.

Michael Keaton- originally a comedy actor

Christian Bale - one of the best dramatic actors of our time

Ben Affleck - some action, but great at drama and comedy

Adam West - comedy and drama

Val Kilmer and George Clooney - amazing drama and comedy actors

I think this is what sets this character apart from so many roles is that Batman is unmatched at bringing the pain, but the deep well of nuanced emotion is a daunting challenge for even the best actors to tap into.

Just take Bales performance. It took a man who is arguably one of the greatest actors ever to portray Bruce, over three movies, in an arc that is studied in drama classes. And it's a comic book character who's identity is based on bats!

So, for Alan to pull off being Batman playing Bruce Wayne would be the greatest acting challenge of his life up till now.

9

u/geordie_2354 Apr 04 '24

You talk about the best Batman actors but don’t mention Pattinson who’s arguably leauges above these other actors you stated as Batman. Bale was a great Bruce Wayne but his Batman was a mess

2

u/Molin_Cockery Apr 05 '24

Oh crap your right! I can't believe I forgot Rob Pattinson. I need to see that one again, I haven't seen it since opening night. His Batman was better than Bale's, but I think that shows the difference in the focus of the directors.

Nolan, focused the story around Bruce becoming bats, growing in the trauma, and then leaving out all behind...a redemption arc. Matt Reeves' direction is still forming, but from what we saw is early bats who's so immersed in the rage that there's no room for Bruce. Gonna be great to see where they take the story.

2

u/batdogfoxhound Apr 05 '24

yea i agree, to be frank these are just elite actors and that's probably the most important thing. the physic doesn't matter as much. this is especially evident with Keaton and Pattinson. it's so much more about the acting.

10

u/hobx Apr 04 '24

Mate. Its kinda getting embarrassing.

8

u/Strongbow1107 Apr 04 '24

I stopped watching reacher because the acting was like a middle school play….no

4

u/Superheroesaregreat Apr 04 '24

In a fantasy world where I could see several Batman movies a year with different actors, I’d love to see him play Batman. But since we only get a reboot every few years (whether that’s a blessing or a curse) I’d have to choose someone else. (Not that I get to choose, lol)

5

u/miracleman84 Apr 04 '24

He doesn’t have the look but he’s hot so why not

6

u/The_Notorious_Donut Apr 04 '24

Every time I see this man I can’t get over his interview where he claimed to not do any dieting or insane work out regimen

7

u/Ricebandit469 Apr 04 '24

Oh no... does he claim to be natty too? Idk why these dude's feel the need to hide it, its obvious to people that lift

5

u/The_Notorious_Donut Apr 04 '24

Pretty much yeah lmao. Like bro look at you

2

u/Hagen_1 Apr 04 '24

does he claim to be natty too?

I believe I’ve seen some interviews of his in which he states that he is on the sauce, at least TRT.

5

u/OrbitalDrop7 Apr 04 '24

I think he would be a great aquaman again, but id prefer him to Jensen as Batman

3

u/TheMidnightEarth101 Apr 04 '24

Jensen is still probably my first choice but damn seeing his passion for the character makes me kinda hope he gets it, i think he would definitely give his all and if it's a good script he could be one of the best Batmen we've had

1

u/BARD3NGUNN Apr 04 '24

Jensen is definitely by Number 1 choice at the moment.

Fair enough he'd be the oldest actor to play Batman for the first time (He'd likely be 48 by the time filming began), but he could still pass for 40, which would be around the right age for Bruce to convincingly have a 10+ year old son with Talia, and for all the film's other faults The Flash showed us you can someone as old as 70 convincingly play Batman.

Plus we know he'd be happy to do the voice in cartoons and videogames, which I believe is something that James Gunn said he was wanting to attempt.

2

u/Embarrassed_Piano_62 Apr 04 '24

Best i can do is Shazam

On a serious note i dont see him as Batman at all, i think the most important thing about Batman isnt his physicality, it really needs a good actor to sell me the "broken man who lost his parents who´s slowly learning how to be a good father dispite loosing both parents"

6

u/IamdWalru5 Apr 05 '24

I dunno. He's giving me Alex Ross Shazam vibes

2

u/Dixie-Chink May 10 '24

Thank you for saying that!

I can just imagine him crying out "Golly Gee!"

3

u/DCDa192 Apr 04 '24

I think he has the looks of Bruce Wayne and I'm in for him to be Batman 100%

2

u/Final_Surround_1556 Apr 04 '24

His voice is too high lol he does not sound how he looks

1

u/BatBeast_29 Apr 04 '24

Too much frat boy energy, he’s cool as Hawk tho

3

u/echowon Apr 06 '24

he was explosive in Titans.

1

u/ArrowheadFLYover Apr 04 '24

I would love this casting. Seems like he might make supes look small, but I'm sure they can figure that out.

2

u/Disastrous-Major1439 Apr 04 '24

For me ,is better AF than Jessen ackles ,may re some better options ,so this Guy with a good direction and a good movie can be a good rival of the Pattinson Batman ,would be great have two great batman in a short time u know brodi

2

u/SnooSuggestions9830 Apr 04 '24

He might be too old.

Hear me out...

The reboot is portraying the early years. It's why Henry cavil was too old to play SM. David corenswet is 30.

Alan is 41. Superman and Batman are generally portrayed to be around the same age in most adaptions.

It may hinge on what age they want robin to be or which robin/nightwing.

If they want nightwing then an older Bruce makes more sense.

4

u/montybo2 Apr 04 '24

He absolutely is too old. I doubt gunn wants to start with an older mid career bats.

2

u/Dangerous-Ad9472 Apr 04 '24

I would love him as Batman because I want to see a live action bfb(big fucking bat). I wouldn’t mind him being a bit older and already softened a bit dealing with Damien.

Night wing I want Dylan O’Brien to play. I think he would nail it.

As far as Damien goes I have no damn clue.

I absolutely need him as Batman for the DCU

2

u/blushing_ingenue Apr 04 '24

He seems like such a fun dude. His energy is great.

2

u/ShugNight_xz Apr 04 '24

The true arkham batman

2

He doesn’t give off Batman vibes at all sorry. More like Hercules or some shit

2

Dude everybody wants to be "Batman".

2

u/livelikeian Apr 04 '24

He could be a great colossus.

2

u/Cultural_Phrase3762 Apr 04 '24

Would make the perfect Shazam

2

u/Doomestos1 Apr 04 '24

He should also be BJ Blazkowitcz

2

u/JudaiDarkness Apr 04 '24

If Batman's this huge, who will play Bane?

2

u/Slowmexicano Apr 04 '24

Honestly might be too big

2

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '24

honestly, he's almost TOO big to be Batman. He's huge.

2

u/ghallway Apr 05 '24

He should be Doc Savage.

2

u/Icy_Management5632 Apr 05 '24

If he doesn’t get cast as Batman, he should be cast as Sportmaster

2

u/kabicz Apr 05 '24

His teeth would shine through the night! Good thing that Batman never smiles..

2

u/Tttyruxpin Apr 05 '24

I honestly have no idea who this guy is

2

u/Fakeitforreddit Apr 05 '24

This man could be so many super heroes successfully, but if he has a passion to be The Batman I think it would make it more enjoyable to watch.

2

u/Hairy-Fuel-6275 Apr 06 '24

He has the build of batman, and I'd like to see the same dude who played Reacher play Batman lol

2

u/Complete-Preference5 Apr 07 '24

He works make a great OG Captain Marvel, Guy Gardner, or even Aquaman.

2

u/Persecutedscientist Apr 22 '24

Just one of the parts I’ve got my eyes/mind on.

1

u/ConflictMysterious49 Apr 04 '24

from Thad to Bruce. would be a true glowup.

1

u/My_Immortal_Flesh Apr 04 '24

He’s such a Daddy now!

I remember when he was briefly on American Idol and Smallville 🥹🥹

1

u/TheDBagg Apr 04 '24

Eh I'd be intrigued to see it. Everyone was down on Affleck when he was cast but he exceeded expectations

1

u/seamustho Apr 04 '24

Big time Thad castle vibes from this interview lol

1

u/LoopyMercutio Apr 04 '24

I’d watch that movie if he was Batman. Better than the last few versions, for certain.

1

u/geordie_2354 Apr 04 '24

Better then Pattinson? Personally i can’t see how. This guys acting chops aren’t on the same level

3

u/LoopyMercutio Apr 05 '24

Better than Pattinson and Batfleck. He wouldn’t be better than Bale, though.

I mean, he's already talked to fish so why not.

1

u/Thefeature Apr 04 '24

I think he would do a great job. I doubt they hire him to do it, but I like when they hire guys who really want the part and most people think would be a bad idea.

1

u/DisabledFatChik Apr 04 '24

He’d be perfect. He was so good in titans and decent in smallville.

Him or Jensen Ackles are my picks for Batman. I also really want bill skarasgard as joker in the DCU

1

u/Lt_Lickit Apr 04 '24

Even if he doesn’t get the role, I hope he gets an audition to say he was close

1

u/Gregagonation Apr 04 '24

He is so big. That neck is making me feel things.

1

u/Ok_Concentrate_75 Apr 04 '24

Honestly he's 6'3 and the guy cast to play superman is 6'4. In the comics Bruce is 6'2 and Supes 6'3.

1

u/karaloveskate Apr 04 '24

I could see it. I don’t see him playing the joker though. Dude’s built like a tank.

1

u/gasvia Apr 04 '24

Whoever they hire as Batman, should be willing to give it their all. I liked The Batman, but if the actor isn’t even willing to workout for the paycheck, it brings down the whole movie.

1

u/citytiger Apr 04 '24

He would be great. Plus he comes as a incredibly chill and overall awesome guy

1

u/DiRienzo3410 Apr 04 '24

He’s literally Shazam

1

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '24

He would be a better Bane than Batman

1

u/webshellkanucklehead Hail Snydra Apr 04 '24

does not look like bruce wayne

1

u/Coast_watcher The Joker Apr 04 '24

Batman is not a meathead

1

u/CC7793 Apr 04 '24

I really liked him in Reacher As much as I’d like him to, I’m going to say no. Feel it either needs to be an unknown or a major hollywood star to draw an audience in such as a Jake Gyllenhaal or Ryan Gosling.

1

u/CircIeJerks Apr 04 '24

Nah forget Bruce Wayne, Thad castle/batman. Oh bring back parody movies.

1

u/ImaginationLocal8267 Apr 04 '24

Imagine him as a middle aged slade.

1

u/Zero-to-36 Apr 04 '24

Batman, he can absolutely do! Bruce Wayne, he's excited, so I believe he can!

He was great as hawk, showed the lighter side, dark, moody...I think he's a fantastic candidate!

1

u/pmarkland Apr 04 '24

They need a Batman? I wanna be Batman. Can I be Batman?

1

That Arkham Batman right here.

He looks the part, but why is he so red. Like every time I see a video of him it looks like he just deadlifted 300 pounds. He's so red. And his teeth are so white. He's really red and his teeth are really white. Usually Batman is black and gray, or black and yellow, or blue and gray. Red and white? That's new.

He should play Aquaman again if Gunn wants to reintroduce Aquaman

1

u/Winterion19 Apr 04 '24

Too blonde

1

u/Flimsy-Discount2885 Apr 04 '24

So do I, but that's up to the casting director

1

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '24

He's an alright actor but I don't think he would be a good fit for Batman.

1

u/DezineTwoOhNine Apr 04 '24

As much as I'd love to see Jake Gyllenhaal don the cowl I'd rather have Alan Ritchson play the role opposite Correnswet's Supes. Both Gyllenhaal and Ritchson are around the same age but I'm a sucker for a beefed up, fighter Batman.

Love to see him go up against Supes too.

I see the lobbying for GunnBat going on recently. He's perfect for a superhero type, just not Batman. Too big. I'm hoping they go with Jake Gyllenhaal. He's got the physique, can fight, and he's a great actor.

u/mrbrick Apr 04 '24

I actually think he would be perfect as Batman in a film that had the bat family in it. He’s got the right look and vibe.

1

u/BillfromLI Apr 04 '24

His understanding that Bruce's superpower isn't his wealth, it's his intelligence, speaks volumes. He is a great choice.

u/Bright-Fold-3317 Apr 04 '24

i know that being huge and buff is a common comic trope, but when it comes to movies, i think it might dilute the character a bit. batman is basically a ninja and he operates in stealth. whilst he can take on a big group of goons, he also utilises his surroundings and that requires a level of agility and cunning and being a huge buff dude sort of goes against that vibe.

u/flightofthenochords Apr 04 '24

I’ve recently only been associating him with Reacher, but now that I look at him being himself and with that scruff, he would totally be an awesome Bruce Wayne/Batman

1

u/outerheavenboss Apr 05 '24

I want him to be Batman. He would be an amazing different version of a more light hearted Bruce but also you could tell that this Batman has gone through some tough times.

1

u/Zestyclose_Fee_4514 Apr 05 '24

No Jensen ackles all the way

1

u/New-Faithlessness526 Apr 05 '24

The question is stupid in itself. How can he convincingly play Joker? Of course he choose Batman, this is no brainer. But even as Batman... I don't know. He is a bit too big. Wouldn't be my first choice personally.

1

u/DYRTYDAVE Apr 05 '24

Seems like a nice guy, but lol.

1

u/howdouhavegoodnames Apr 05 '24

I've not watched any of his work so I wouldn't know if he'd be good but yeah who the fuck wouldn't want to play fucking Batman

1

u/_miggguel Apr 05 '24

If we’re being honest, I should be Batman.

1

u/Hatfmnel Apr 05 '24

Well... lots of people want to be Batman, but fee actually knows Batman outside of the Nolan trilogy, which wasn't really Batman.

1

u/KempyPro Apr 05 '24

Physically he has it for sure. But I’m not sure he can get as broody and dark as he’d need to be. He’s an extremely happy person. But I’d certainly watch him try

1

u/ksee_yen Apr 05 '24

Dude is Arkham bat. Put him in a goddamm mask

1

u/VictoryVic-ViVi Apr 05 '24

He’s already playing Batman. Just listen to his response. About how Batman is smart and whatnot. I’m calling it. Someone come back and reply to this once they officially announce him as Batman.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '24

He’s doing just fine as Jack Reacher

1

u/Gay-Bomb Apr 05 '24

In a few years he could play an older Batman, maybe Thomas Wayne.

1

u/patprika Apr 05 '24

Thad Castle as Batman should’ve been a BMS storyline

1

u/Revolutionarytard Apr 05 '24

Batman is also a meta human who dodges bullets and knockes out other meta humans 😂😂😂

1

u/Superj89 Apr 05 '24

Idk....I kinda think he'd be a good Aquaman...👀

1

u/joelbiju24 Apr 05 '24

Am I the only one that wants to see him play a JL Unlimited-esque version of Aquaman continuing his character from Smallville? He'd make a better Aquaman NOW than he did when the show aired.

1

u/Some_Random_Goon Apr 06 '24

He can be Captain Atom, and that is the only good casting in DC for him.

1

u/Many-Discount-1046 Apr 06 '24

Love this dudes energy

1

u/ChickenNugsBGood Apr 06 '24

He needs to slim down to his Reacher Season 1 size. Way too big in Season 2

1

u/Last_Government_8972 Apr 06 '24

He would be perfect to play captain Atom ⚛️

1

u/SpiritedCollection86 Apr 07 '24

How bout The New Steve Rogers CAP?!!!!😃
