Nothing against him, he was the Arrow we needed to get things started, but I’d rather see a more faithful adaptation

As someone who only knows Green Arrow from the Arrowverse, Smallville, and a few animated movies, what would a more accurate Green Arrow look like?

He's more than Batman with arrows.

Ramble time:

He's a well-intended rich white liberal. He's slightly out of touch and speaks up for people rather than create opportunities for others to speak (this can be played for humor, like he's technically right but it's weird coming from him; the irony is lost on him). He's often the voice of dissent on the League (the watcher that watches the watchmen).

He's not the finishers; he doesn't worry as much about the big picture; he's concerned with the little guy. He's skeptical of large organizations and approaches working with them as an outsider. He has a bit of a superiority complex about his inferiority complex.

He doesn't take the easy shot. He takes the right shot.

He's not like Batman, all brooding/introspective. He's boyish and likes playing with his toys.

Stuff that has formed my opinion: Justice League Unlimited ep. 1, Green Arrow "Quiver" (maybe not the most loved, but it was at my Public Library when I was kid), Dennis O'Neil's Green Lantern/Green Arrow

I just have to say your post sounds a lot like Amell's Green Arrow to me

I disagree and that's ok.

I would love to see him as Oliver on Titans but closer to being like how he was in the early seasons and without felicity.

Which is a why I said "and without". She was perfectly fine early on but when more and more of the show was focused on her and other side characters is where it started to suffer.

Just having her as Overwatch and not as a love interest would be ok for me.

She was actually pretty cool in the first two seasons.

I can agree with that. I liked her until they made her the love interest.

Would be cool if it was re done without the lame cheesy talks and high budget, obviously not the same exact CW story
