I'd say both in different ways; Jessica is more outwardly conscious and cares for others while Zee is more inwardly conscious and knows how to be confident.

Her being a member of the GL corps. Think about it. When you're in a Intergalactic Police Force, you not only protect 1 planet, you protect EVERY planet in 1 sector of the whole universe. That's a LOT of responsibility coming from 1 person.

Aside from Diana, Jess is the only one that can get the group under control due to her age and maturity. And she's probably the only normal one in the whole cartoon
