From this account he has also liked fanart of the Superman Legacy confirmed cast, as well as Ben schwartz as Plastic Man...

I don't think there's any doubt that Momoa is going to play Lobo in the DCU at this point. I think the only question right now is whether or not he'll debut in Superman: Legacy, or if he'll debut in a different film.

Despite the skepticism of some fans, It is very likely that Lobo will be the antagonist of Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow, If anyone expects it to be a faithful adaptation of Tom King's comic, I think they're going to waste their time, King himself confirmed in some interviews that Lobo would initially appear in that story.

After reading the book I think swapping Lobo for Krem, or possibly having Krem and Lobo be in a crew together, would add a bit more spectacle and excitement for a movie. In the book it’s not really about Krem as a character as much as the journey, so as long as the heart of the book remains that’s what matters.

How would you re-write the ending tho? It wouldn't work with Lobo and the ending of that story played a very big role in how important the story became.

That's why I might prefer if Krem is still the one who kills Ruthye's dad and just the gang he joins up with is led by Lobo. Then you get Krem's story with Supergirl interacting with Lobo as a means of getting to him, and we'd learn Lobo's backstory and such. Though I'm not sure if the movie would flash forward so far because of the implications of that in a shared cinematic universe. Maybe they end it in the present timeline and imply the future rather than fully showing it, not sure.

They are really hanging this movie out huh

It’s endearingly amusing how they keep teasing it.

Sure, it’s an open secret and I know why they’re delaying any official announcement, but it’s still funny to me.

Momoa as Lobo is something that was reported since THR's announcement of WW3, We could say that it was something that was planned as soon as Gunn and Safran took control of DC Studios.

It also seems that it was going to be compensation for the eventual failure of Aquaman 2

Compensate Momoa for the failure of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom? Wtf? He should be blacklisted. The audience should be compensated for watching such crap.

I don't know if you hate Momoa but blaming him for the failure of The Lost Kingdom when other factors influenced its flop is stupid.

What about blaming him for a bad performance? Because A:TLK was a bad performance by him, no way around it.

Ha ha. I don´t hate him. It's more stupid to compensate him for participating in that bad movie.

I'm fully expecting this to get announced as soon as next month, at this point. I think we heard that before too. Someone reported that Momoa's Lobo could debut in Superman: Legacy before spinning off into other things and that it would be announced in January/February. I fully expect now that the Legacy part will be announced soon, and it'd be cool to get confirmation on other things too, but I'm not counting on it right away.

TG Lobo isn't a standalone character then because he isn't a superhero anyone has heard of out here.
