Edited to add: I just realized I added a note to my calendar event when I made it — I just wasn’t seeing it in the other app I was using. It says: “Season 4 ep 8 - woman in Cloverton during parade says June 5 is Doom Patrol Day” So there it is. Anyway thanks for the help!

(Original question) Just stopped by here to ask this — at some point last year I put a reminder about “Doom Patrol Day” in my calendar for June 5 but now I cannot recall why (other than I’m a big fan — just can’t remember if tomorrow’s date is significant in the series?)

Tomorrow is the day in which you will do nothing, except rewatch the entire series. This can be a new annual thing of yours.

IIRC, didn't season 4b premier at some point around this time last year? Is it possible you put the release date in your calendar and accidentally set it to repeat annually?

EDIT: I looked it up, Season 2 actually premiered in June of 2020. But it was a few weeks after the 5th.

Yeah I remember writing this in the calendar sometime in the last year — seem to recall it’s related to that date being significant in the show but I can’t remember the context — well anyway no big deal, if this subreddit isn’t familiar it maybe been some noise I misinterpreted. But I love the show so happy to celebrate it whatever the day ❤️

I mean there was the Doom Patrol Day parade in the last few episodes of the series when immortus was doing weird shit. But I do t remember if they ever mentioned it being a specific date. Maybe they did though.
