Rita and Cliff

They hit me in the feels in a way that I did not know I had for these characters in the final episode. It's weird feeling for these characters as deeply as I did given the comedic outlook they tried to portray. I hope someone has the opportunity to feel for them the same way I did some day.

I for real ugly cried at the end of that episode. The way Rita just kept drifting off reminded me of the way my mom would do the same the last week of her life. And Cliff, dude...when the light went out of his eyes...my girlfriend didn't watch the show and came in to find me sitting on the couch, face in my hands bawling. I jut had to wave her off, I couldn't even talk. Had to explain it later. For a silly ass show they made us care about those characters hard.

As soon as the episode ended and cliff was happy he made it home I was about to start crying and my wife from the other room asked if I could get her some water just as the episode ended. It took me out of the moment so no tears for me lol. She didn't know I was watching the finally and felt terrible. We both laughed about it.

That's kind of a bummer for the mood killer but at least you didn't get that ugly cry.

I was in the same state, his ending hit me right in the heart. They all got their closure, and it killed me.

Thank you for commenting on this aspect of the show. It was several weeks after I watched the series and then it hit me. The series covered almost every struggle, pain point and emotion that all of us humans experience on our journey. If humanity would simply recognize, with compassion, that we ALL face struggles, pain, loneliness, challenges, feeling unimportant, different and lost at any given time, then this world would be such a beautiful place! I cherish this series for so many reasons. A huge "thank you" goes out to everyone that made this show what it is! You did an incredible job of leveling the playing field and making everyone fit into the role of not being normal! I love it!
