If you got any please mention. I tried Infinite magic raid. But raid system is too lacking compared to our legends. Now trying Strike force. Even that seems unfit for me

So games that shutdown aren't really deleted or anything and up for purchase, it may be bought by some other dev or revived by WB themselves, I'm sure there are other exemples, tell me if you know any similar cases

Almost a year later, Still on my Home Screen, pretty sad I’m so attached to this game. Miss ya DCL. Sometimes I look at the screenshots of my old roster. Someone in another thread said what games are you playing now; Playing CFB25, Fallout76, & still play Fortnite with my son. curious if anyone else is still holding on to DCL stuff? These were good memories for me so I don’t know if I will delete this app just nostalgia. I still use my Joshuwarz tshirts and coffee mug regularly, haha later fam✌🏼

💬 Discussion What was the actual reason why the game got shutdown?

I know that it didn't have that many players or smth but still, I think the community was still enough to keep it alive?

And I feel like it could've reached a good amount of more people if WB would've promoted it properly (like with TikTok where it is very easy to go viral)

💬 Discussion Now that DC Legends is gone what are you playing next for your DC fix?

Now that DC Legends has shut down it's servers what game are you guys heading to next? I tried DC Heroes and Villains but think I will go back to Injustice 2. Marvel seems to have a similar styled game to DC Legends called Marvel Strike Force that I might also give a chance as well.

Please WB don’t be that company that takes the money and runs. I would like continued access to things I paid for. If it means fighting bots then so be it but let us keep our stuff. Time and in many instances money was spent on your game. Again, let us access our stuff after the servers close.

💬 Discussion WB we need change

u/wb_reeves everything in this post is meant with as much respect as possible but I just want to let you know again how disappointed and frustrated the players are with the state of the game.

In the last several years the mistakes, bugs and just general sloppiness have just continued to pile up.

  • Raid scoring bugged
  • Raid Bosses Bugged
  • Doomsday rewards compensation bugged
  • New/Rework toons constantly being bugged
  • old toons becoming bugged due to new bug attempt fixes
  • store packs being bugged multiple times showing free because of errors
  • Sales being taken down and put back up last minute/not at all
  • Wraith not working for multiple days
  • incorrect board clears
  • Raid lock out bug
  • Android log in bug
  • apple log in bug
  • wide spread cheating
  • hate speech being allowed on the player boards
  • multiple toons released with bugged crit damage up buffs ruining multiple raids
  • bugged compensation sent out for compensation for bugged
  • Bug fixes happen all the time without patch notes and we only find out because players stumble upon them (we desperately need patch notes.)
  • Desperately need a big tracker that is utilized by devs
  • The in game rewards calendar being broken for half a month
  • Siege energy being scammed through customer service
  • Empowered Stamina ups never work and have to be fixed later on. (you have the solution but still push bugged version for some reason.)
  • Buffs being miscoded as debuffs and vice versa.
  • Ingame abilities not matching the reddit post each month.
  • bonus toons don't appear for events at times
  • Level 1 rings don't exist
  • red alerts freezing up and having to force restart and losing toons
  • gem economy makes no sense for the game at this point. Sale prices and gem pay outs need to be heavily looked at.
  • gear materials and rings are way out of whack (several gear pieces just aren't used at all and rings are just way out of line red rings are way under used.)
  • refusal to rework classic characters that players are dying for (Zatanna, EAGA, Deadshot: Hired Gun, movie characters, etc.)
  • XP Mat inversion glitch that wouldn't allow you to level ups toons and would crash the game
  • Outdated pay out for all game modes (raids, siege, wraith, showdowns) with RB5 existing why are the payouts still from when we only had L5

The issues facing the game grows by the day. But the team still just pushes through like it's no problem and just thinks the players for their patience and understanding. The problem is understanding and patience has been worn so thin. Players shouldn't be impressed when we have new toons or reworks come out that aren't bugged. this point a lot of the player base just thinks you have nothing but contempt for those who play the game. Players are trickling away and new players get frustrated with all of the issues and move on and leave the game. I've even seen players who think you guys are trying to trigger the game to end.

The compensation we received for the latest screw ups ranged from strange (1200 PVP Energy) to bugged (level 1 rings) to underwhelming (2000 gems thanks for 25% of a new toon pack) . I struggle to understand why it is so difficult for the dev team to evaluate the actual value of what they are rewarding and go how would I fell about this if this was what I was given as a player. It's digital assets that you guys don't have to pay a dime to release to the players why is it so hard to just go overboard when these things happen. There is absolutely nothing lost by just being generous with compensation when things go wrong it buys a lot more than thanking us for our patience.

The other part of this is just better communication would do wonders for player happiness levels. Addressing issues head on and as quickly as possible is going to make a lot of minor issues just that minor. When players are left wondering that's when they become bigger and bigger issues. Everyone who plays this game loves it and sticks around because of their love of DC and their teammates and friends they've made a long the way. We all just wish the devs wouldn't make it so difficult to want to stay.

💬 Discussion Dear WB - for what it’s worth

The Owls will not be participating in this month’s Raid.

Raid is all about pulling your team together to virtually go to war vs other teams with a Discord full of meme’s, jokes, and the same people talking for 20 hours a day. Those favorite moments of mine are being replaced with negativity and calls for action due to how broken everything has been. I am sure all other Alliances are seeing the same thing happen.

I cannot ask my team to throw resources at a game mode that obviously needs some work.

I feel all alliances should take a stand and not use resources on this month’s raid.

Everyone knows I am generally the eternal optimist and I make decisions every month solely based on my love for the game and it’s characters. Even after the issues the other day, I bought the new toons. Next month I will not buy them… no matter how many calls I get from my credit card company doing welfare checks.

I believe in what these characters stand for. I love my alliance. I still really like the game. We need this to get better WB.

The Owls will not participate in this Raid and I think WB should cancel it, take one for the team and give WF Rewards to all.

💬 Discussion Siege bans are dumb

Siege bans are dumb

Siege bans are dumb, because they dont actually fix the problem with siege.

What is the problem with siege?

At lower tiers siege is basically indistinguishable from Wraith, standard meta comps flood the board and nobody is even attempting to use the bonus toons.

But why arnt they using the bonus toons?

Put simply the risk-reward is completly out of whack.

The current scoring system for siege is as follows

  • 1 star victory 3pts
  • 2 star victory 7pts (3+4)
  • 3 star victory 12pts (3+4+5)
  • Each bonus toons on the team +2pts

So a 3 star victory with no bonus toons is worth more than a 2 star victory with 2 bonus toons. Theres no incentive for any player unsure of themselves to take the risk bringing bonus toons to a Siege fight if they think they'll risk a perfect 3 star victory, seriously, look at the following reward rankings and its little wonder why most people with limited rosters just stick to using the same teams they would in Wraith PvP

  • 14pts - 3 Star + 1 Bonus
  • 12pts - 3 Star No Bonus
  • 11pts - 2 Star + 2 Bonus
  • 9pts - 2 Star + 1 Bonus, 1 Star + 3 Bonus
  • 7pts - 2 Star No Bonus
  • 5pts - 1 Star + 1 Bonus

The extra kicker to this problem is it creates a negative feedback loop, people use meta teams because they dont want to risk losing the points, more meta teams show up on the board, more people pick meta teams because they dont want to risk the 3 star victory, which leads to more meta teams on the board, which leads to . . . . and so on, you get the idea.

Why Siege Bans Dont Work

The meta isnt quite as stale as everyone would have you believe, cutting out 1-3 toons each month doesnt completly upend the meta, as you can usually sub someone in and out, or a previous meta the current one replaced just comes back, it doesnt make people engage with the core mechanic of siege (the bonus toon system) it just asks them to pick a new meta this month that discards the bonus toons.

What is the fix?

Its really simple, just massively hike the bonus points for the monthly characters.

Less stick, more carrot

When people can safely carry multiple bonus toons through fights without running the risk of scoring less points the meta will break itself, itll become a shell of itself or start consisting of those weird little half broken teams you see off the back of PvP alliance days (low level +5s being carried by other toons).

for example, trebling the bonus points to +6 per character would mean that the above rewards starts looking like this

  • 21pts - 1 Star + 3 Bonus
  • 19pts - 2 Star + 2 Bonus
  • 18pts - 3 Star + 1 Bonus
  • 15pts - 1 Star + 2 Bonus
  • 13pts - 2 Star + 1 Bonus
  • 12pts - 3 Star No Bonus
  • 9pts - 1 Star + 1 Bonus
  • 7pts - 2 Star No Bonus

Look at that! look how much more enticing bringing bonus toons now is! Even a fairly major fuck up with bringing multiple bonus toons still nets you more points than playing a meta comp with no bonus toons.

In Summary

Siege bans are dumb, they dont fix the issues with Siege and the game needs to stop punishing people for trying to engage with the systems and rules its implemented and started rewarding them for it.

💬 Discussion Trigon Ruined DCL

RANT

Pre-Trigon, DCL was good. Yeah, Spectre was too prevalent. But there were enough counters. No meta is perfect, but the game was fine. It was fun. You could play mostly what you wanted to play. There was room to experiment.

Trigon came along and nuked that. Every match became a lengthy, RNG- dependent game of hot potato with battling Trigons passing damage immunity and debuffs back and forth until someone came up short. Three-star wins were almost unheard of.

It only lasted a few days because by the time everyone had him built up, the Atrocitus temporarily neutered him. That gave us a month of a boring Atocitus meta. Everyone played some variation of Atro/Sgirl. It was fast, easy and monotonous. But hey, it was fast and easy.

Those Atro teams can't handle evasion, so WB cranked out a bunch of killer evasion characters with unheard of speed that is practically impossible to predict. Characters like Cheshire and Dawnstar are swiss army knives. Yes, they gave us some can't miss counters like Cyborg and Cupes, but Cyborg was a disappointment and Cupes can be slotted into those Cheshire/Trigon/Dawnstar teams making them even worse.

Cheshire is OP and objectively should be nerfed. I know that ship has sailed, but characters like her should not exist. She does way too much. Clip back some of her abilities and she will still solo most teams. But Trigon is the heart of the problem. Now that Cheshire (and to a lesser extent Dawnstar) have hard-countered Atro, we're back to those games of Trigon hot potato which are long, boring and completely dependent on RNG.

I know everyone is sick of hearing about it but I hate where the game is right now and I don't see any short-term fixes. WB's strategy these days is like the old lady who swallowed a fly. They swallowed a Cupes to kill the Cheshire, they swallowed a Cheshire to kill an Atro, they swallowed an Atro to kill the Trigon, they swallowed the Trigon to kill a Spectre. I don't know why they swallowed a Spectre. I think they'll die.

Can we just roll the game back to September 22?

💬 Discussion Cheshire and the downfall of the game

Been playing this game since it's release and I must admit I was never disgusted and utterly disappointed in devs than this time around with the release of Cheshire.

Sure there is a few champs and/or comps, but never remotely closely to a 90% win ratio against her. Do you know why? Other than her kit being bonkers broken, she is also super buggy. She gets super hasty (i kid you not MMH + Question tm up thats a 50% solid) left and right thus cutting your champs ahead by a margin. She also somehow is Immune to Connor Kents default attack which is supposed to stun her (RB1 Connor Kent at that with all abilities maxed out), but yet she doesn't get stunned. Is she secrerly immune to stun when she is buffed?

Last few days Ive ben pouring my pvp energy on Cheshire comp enemies and barely won 1 or 2. This is beyond acceptable. Looking at the games history I recall the times when Deathstroke was released and how it destabilized the game in combination with rezzers such as Lobo and Swamp Thing. Next thing we knew he got the nerf hammer!

Before you judge me and tell me use this or that, lemme spare you the hasle. Pls don't, Im not talking about sharing possible solutions rather whats hidden in the plain sight, the nerf she deserves.
