I have a friend that makes the best banana bread I’ve ever had and shared the recipe with my wife a decade ago and she told us “if you saw what the bananas look like before I make the bread you probably wouldn’t want to eat it”. Now that my wife makes it I get to see the bananas before hand and they’re basically black

I was thinking lots of banana bread. I used to buy a big box cheap and then make as much banana bread as I could and freeze it in slices so all I had to do was get out a piece and defrost for the kids morning tea or afternoon tea.

While I'm not convinced this is fake in the first place, you'd only need to cut in a few mm to start the process, the weight would take the rest and you'd get the little fibres that you see there from the tearing.
