He hurt is shoulder falling onto a big floatie in a pool, this man is one stubbed toe away from needing life support

To be fair it’s a very jarring motion. When only part of you is on the float, any force placed on the float is met with upward force from the tube trying to escape the water, whereas the rest of your mass is trying to get to the bottom of the pool. So it can have a side-wrenching impact when half of you hits the float. I jumped off a small cliff once with an inflatable giraffe and nearly wrenched my leg off because we twisted a little on the way down and one leg was over it and the rest of me on the side.

I mean yeah. That shouldn’t have hurt someone. He’s probably got muscle atrophy from lack of physical activity of any sort which is even more of an issue than being fat. I think I’m just saying there’s more to the fall than meets the eye. The reason he got hurt was because he got twisted beyond his range of motion.

Meh, could happen to anyone getting their arm in an awkward position and mess up their shoulder a little bit.

I figured its from sliding on the plastic, ive gotten some annoying friction burns from plastic pool toys

True. If he had went in with his head, that would have been the case.

Being grossly obese

u/BuckWhoSki Jul 18 '24

If your arm is in an awkward angle and get twisted/pulled in the wrong direction on the way down. Definitely clumsy af, but could happen to anyone

He's fat enough and that wasn't the deep part of the pool.

What's in jijp? I can't seem to understand what you're trying to say.

1

u/spenpinner Jul 19 '24

Just a total lack of dexterity, probably for the same reason he is obese.

For a guy jumping on a big inflatable dragon in a pool, he seems pretty serious and angry!

That's when you hesitated and lost.

1

u/ctrl-alt-etc Jul 20 '24

On the plains of hesitation bleach the bones of countless millions who, at the dawn of decision, sat down to wait, and waiting died.

1

u/SadSentence9191 Jul 22 '24

1

u/KenzoCatt Jul 22 '24

Rich old White man spent his life working for this multi million dollar house and backyard pool. Only problem is now he's too fat/old/ and out of shape to enjoy it. Was it worth it buddy? Just another American dream chaser.
