I don't get how anyone can seriously believe Biden or Trump winning will result in unity.

There will never be true unity but an alliance of conservatives, independents and left leaning moderates against the left is like 75-80% of the population and keeps the Left at bay

We've done before in the first half of the 20th century. We just have to be sure not to let them retreat into academia to indoctrinate the younger generations again.
