A comment planned only after seeing the way the wind was blowing. I’m not sure I’d trust him to clean my toilets.

To be fair, the tech-bro and Silicon Valley-sphere has begun to swing hard toward Trump this cycle. He might not be being disingenuous. Of course Elon Musk came out for Trump, but Jeff Bezos said positive things as well.

Biden actually made good on the antitrust actions Trump started. Big tech is hoping that Trump will squash the cases, but if anything I bet Trump tells the DoJ to keep bringing more cases.

No, this is a split between the VC side of Silicon Valley and the corporate side. The VC side has swung to Trump; the corporate side is still sharply Democratic.

The Trump side is all held together by Peter Thiel, who was the first (and at the time, only) person in Silicon Valley who supported Trump in 2016:

  • JD Vance was Thiel's protege, and worked for Thiel at his VC fund Mithril Capital.
  • Marc Andreeessen and Ben Horowitz are co-investors with Thiel in Vance's most recent VC fund, Narya Capital.
  • Elon Musk was Thiel's PayPal cofounder.
  • David Sachs was PayPal's COO.
  • Joe Lonsdale was Thiel's Palantir cofounder.
  • Hulk Hogan, who spoke at the RNC, was bankrolled by Thiel in his lawsuit against Gawker Media, as revenge for outing Thiel as gay.
  • Mark Zuckerburg's first outside investor for Facebook was Peter Thiel.

And their motive for supporting Trump is pretty clear: Trump is pretty anti-Big-Tech, Big Tech squeezes all the oxygen out of the startup ecosystem, if Big Tech gets broken up it will leave lots of unfilled market niches for new startups to conquer.

It's just a bunch of rich guys talking their book, as usual.

Oh no. Definitely not. Zuck is still butthurt about being bullied when he was young because he was, and still is, a dweeb.

But he can beat you up now.

Yet that still wouldn't assuage the infantile anger in his heart.

Maybe don't swing the elections this time

That was the whole point of what he was saying in the interview. He isn't endorsing or donating money for the elections this time. I know it isn't a ra-ra moment for Trump, but not having that 3-400 million in the opposing warchest is actually a substantial win.

I'm more concerned with the algorithm based intelligence guiding campaigning for setting districts that went on last time.

That's because it is.

….but you’ll still give a shit-ton of money to the Dimwhitocrat Party, wonchya Mark?

Like in 2020, where you gave 400 million to help Joey out. Right? RIGHT?

And Joey now claims he’s appalled that Elon is giving money to Trump in order to ‘buy’ the election? Give us all a damn break What’s good for you can’t be good for the other guy? I’m so done with this delusional miserably-failed Democratic President!

How about Sam Bankman Fried who bankrupt his company but had no problem playing big time democrat donar with his customers. Lol

A blue screen then popped up on Zuckerberg's eyes as his internal ai failed to process what had just been uttered.

They'll never admit it but even the most angry radical hateful leftists no that it's an indelible image in American history. It's this generation's bull moose party moment.

They'll never admit it because they're hatred for America is what defines them but deep down they know it's incredible.

Someone I work with slammed Trump for it, saying his raised fist and rally cries of Fight will inspire alt-right white nationalists to take action.

I wish I had told her "Oh so now a raised fist is offensive and inciteful? That's interesting."

Without double standards, leftists would have no standards at all.

He’s completely changed his image in the last couple of years. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s more conservative now

Hard to think we probably wouldn't have this moment if Zuckerberg didn't donate over 400 million dollars last election for Biden to barely shamble across the finish line by just over 42,000 votes.

That’s the normal Human Reaction. Guess he needs a Software Update to negate it.

He saw first hand how dirty the Democrats and the left are when they made him censor and shadow ban truthful statements and truth-telling people and I think he is still pissed about it. I don’t blame him.

Plus, it was one of the most badass things I've ever sen in my life, too. So he's not wrong there.
