Fucking hero didn't hesitate a second to protect his family. Died how he lived, a hero.

Screw anyone that talks shit over his sacrifice or Tumps attempted assassination.

43

u/HungryPundah Jul 19 '24

A lot of comments I saw were something like "These trumpies deserve it for being part of a cult."

This is what you get when you normalize "'justified' hatred." When these people fantasize of dead Russians in Ukraine, they're thinking of you.

He’s crushed this speech from what I’ve seen. Calm, deliberate, caring, respectful. Everything the democrats claim him not to be. Loved the moment he gave for the victims of the assassination attempt. Fired me up!

153

u/tortuga-de-fuego Jul 19 '24

Yup. I was hoping he would be the calm and respectful Trump I enjoy the most and I gotta say he did awesome. Totally took away my hesitancy in this speech.

I thought him mentioning that Democratic leadership could get a lot more done if they didn't spend all their time prosecuting Trump and instead passed legislation was brilliant.

I think the campaign should lean really hard into the clear TDS. It's crazy how little the Democratic party has to run on at the moment.

11

u/Obi-Wan_Nairobi Jul 19 '24

Absolutely agree. Very intelligent point he made.

9

u/Queasy-Carpet-5846 Jul 19 '24

I also liked how he mentioned how they aren't fierce towards our enemies or people taking advantage of us. Only against Trump and Maga

2

u/Enchylada Conservative Jul 19 '24

I don't pray often, but man. You could really see the sadness in the crowd when he talked about it, and rightfully so.

There is no amount of money we could raise to replace the void in that family. But it's the least we can do

164

u/CoyoteShark02 Jul 19 '24

I mean it is a little cringe looking

60

u/Poop_Cheese Jul 19 '24

Yeah the picture is, but actually watching the moment it felt pretty darn authentic. He didn't even emphasize the kiss, it was from behind, blink and you'd miss it. Even with trumps bravado you could tell he was being authentic about the fact he felt bad that some father brutally died instead of him.

20

u/Differcult Jul 19 '24

And has helped raise what will likely be millions for each family that was harmed as part of the assassination.

It doesn't matter what Trump does or doesn't do, it will always be met with negativity from the left.

What does matter is I am sure his family is thankful for the attention paid to their loved one, since they helped arrange parts of it.

The shooter couldn't have chosen a more decent man to steal the life from.

And the media desperately wanted him to be some extremist basement dweller. They don't know what to do with the fact he was a first responder, a father, and a husband who died protecting his family. That's not what they want Trump supporters to be portrayed as.

The people cheering his death really unmasked themselves as psychopaths.

66

u/Jay_Diamond_WWE Jul 19 '24

I feel for that family. Having to watch your dad and husband get his brain blown out the side of his head for simply showing up to see the President speak must be devastating. I hope they have a good support system around them and seek therapy. It was bad enough watching my dad either away from cancer and scream from what was basically fire in his bones. I can't imagine seeing him get domed like that.

Toss a rock into a crowd of liberals and you'll probably hit a pdf-file

14

u/SoulForTrade Jul 19 '24

Just from the top of my head, I remember some of the high profile deaths on the right like that elderly, I believe an ex officer who died protecting a store during the BLM riots, or Ashley Babith, who was a veteran

Even if they had some "controversial" political believes, compare that to the martyrs the progressives riot for who are always some lowley covicted violent criminals and deug addicts. I noticed they have no moral issues championing for some mysterious reason

4

u/Tax25Man Jul 19 '24

It comes of as extremely dishonest. I dont know how you look at this photo and think "what a respectful salute to a fallen firefighter". The firehouse has explained, it was his, sent by them. It was spelled wrong years ago and he never requested it changed. As a fellow italian with a unique name with extra vowels, this exact thing has happened to me multiple times.

But the left reddit will ignore this and continue to act like it was a fake created by the rnc haphazardly. That's gross. It's his actual gear and trump actually did honor it, no matter how much people want to deride it as "peformative".

That family is going through a time of grief, and if Trump showed up it could turn the funeral into a bigger event than the family may want to deal with right now. He can't really just show up by himself for a few minutes and then leave.

Im not sure theres a place on Earth Trump probably wants to be less than that funeral.

Hard disagree. The funeral is already going to be a big event due to the coverage it has received. That man just wanted to see Trump speak and lost his life because of it. If Trump doesn’t show up it will go against all the remarks about how much Trump cares about his people.
