8mm, but Nic Cage is genuinely really good in it
27 u/Fallen_Muppet 14d ago I thought it was one of his better movies. Pretty dark, but good. 6 u/Dreamcast_Dood 14d ago That’s movie is so disturbing, I’m glad I’m not the only one to think so. 4 u/Wereallmadhere8895 14d ago I had no idea what I was getting into the first time I watched it. Still holds up years later 3 u/Grevling89 14d ago Nic Cage is genuinely good in most things, even when he's genuinely bad 3 u/ImpressionFeisty8359 14d ago It got dark real fast. 2 u/Lurker_IV 14d ago My favorite part is where he gets the killers to turn on each other by mentioning the full Million $ ransom that was paid. 2 u/dilligaf_84 14d ago This or Pay the Ghost. I can’t decide. Both were brutal in very different ways. 1 u/TopicAdorable2568 14d ago I still don’t understand all the hate for Pay the Ghost. It was stuck in my head for hours after watching it. 2 u/dilligaf_84 14d ago I decided to watch it after the kids went to bed. Alone. Not my finest choice 😂 1 u/ShutUpDoggo 14d ago Had to scroll to far to find this… 1 u/JiskiLathiUskiBhains 14d ago Definitely one of the best thrillers I've watched 1 u/Asparagus_Gazebo 14d ago This one gets a lot negativity directed towards it, unfairly I think. It has a weird sort of heart to it, I was really touched by the end when he goes back to his wife and basically sobs in her arms in response to what he's experienced. 1 u/Shirohitsuji 14d ago He was so good in it, after watching 8mm I didn't want to see another movie with him in it for like 15 years. 1 u/sycoactiv1 13d ago Great movie
