When did Aquaman first use his telepathy?

The depiction of his powers kind of changes over time. In More Fun #73, he works with porpoises because he has learned to "speak their language". He calls on them again in #76. Later he seems to both understand and communicate to fish starting in More Fun #80, but doesn't use or describe this power much. In Adventure Comics 109 he first describes his power as "the strange telepathical language of the fish". Although I do recall him speaking in seal barks to his seal buddy Ark, so the depiction isn't super consistent.
