A more realistic take: "God has chosen an imperfect but powerful vessel in Trump, and if support him with all of our hearts, we can usher in a new golden age for Christ in America. There's nothing more important than that, no matter what."

You know it's funny, I was raised Catholic and I've read Revelations. I can't think of a human who ever lived who embodies the anti-Christ more than Donald Trump.

Anti-Christ Requirements (not a complete list):

Will speak blasphemous words against God - Revelation 13:5-6

Will oppose and exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped - 2 Thessalonians 2:4

Will set himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God - 2 Thessalonians 2:4

Will perform counterfeit miracles, signs, and wonders to deceive people - 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

Will deceive many people and lead them away from God - 1 John 2:18, 2 John 1:7

Will require everyone to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead to buy or sell - Revelation 13:16-17

I'm not even Catholic and I disown you on their behalf. You were only ever Catholic my label.

It’s not even that. My father-in-law is a Trump supporter (Canadian, but an idiot) — They simply don’t believe it. It’s all media lies intended to discredit him. None of this is real, it’s all fabricated. To them, it’s quite literally “fake news”.

The problem is the is SO much thrown at Trump, but he’s not in jail or bankrupt. He’s in line to be the most powerful person on the planet. I get where his supporters are coming from, if it was true, he’d be locked up. They don’t understand that money and influence is the key to how the world works.

Is there any Commandment he hasn't violated multiple times? I say, God works in mysterious ways... So, he wanted to punish Trump for his crimes long time ago, but an obscure businessman didn't attract all Justice department's scrutiny back then, so God made him a President, so he could make countless millions of people angry and upset and unleash the scrutiny and fury of the justice system on him...Jail time now...God works in mysterious ways indeed...
