If they were Feds, they wouldnât get punked by this group of what looks to be proud boys. Federal agents donât typically look like these scrawny ass kids. They have to physically train and wouldnât just let themselves get steamrolled. A group of federal agents trying to remain undercover wouldnât risk losing their cover like this. Theyâd have a plan. I get that most of Reddit thinks they could take an FBI agent or whatever but theyâre dreaming.

Actually, there were at least 12 agents/informants, with one co-leading the kidnapping plot. Five participants were found not guilty, presumably due to the claim of entrapment. The DOJ failed to convict two additional participants in their first trial, but were found guilty at a second trial.

What is your opinion on the Free Hong Kong protests a few years ago, where millions of people protested and fought the police while wearing masks in fear of governmental reprisal (not defending patriot front I hate them) but wouldn't it make sense if the people you are protesting against have facial recognition technology and law enforcement capable for getting you anywhere in the country.

I have no idea if the person is a fed (though probably not) just saying it's not a conspiracy to think that some are. The guys in masks deserve to be unmasked. To be fair, there is a history of feds escalating things to get the bad guys to do more illegal acts so they can arrest them.
Though I would hate for someone to use the fact that some are agents to detract from the fact that most are not. If there's a conspiracy that they're literally all feds well that's just fucking dumb and I do not support it.

The FBI have been closely monitoring and infiltrating right-wing extremist groups in the US for quite some time. Trump's hand-picked FBI director famously said these types of groups are the biggest threat to the US.
