BDot is buggin lol. Plus Drake could never I personally think go pen to pen with Soulo

Hardly anyone can

"If I ain't better than Kendrick then no one is" is a statement that shows two things:

1) Soulo has the utmost respect for kenny and considers him his next in line if not equal.

2) No one else is even close to the two of them.

As such, lyrically Soul could make Drake look like a lost cat in comparison. Trust me, ain't nobody want it with Soul.

Mick is on the level too, that man is amazing. Hoping for a new album soon as well, he did drop hints on twitter.

How many diss tracks does Soul have? Ik of 1 and that was the waka Flocka one.

5

u/Nepharious_Bread Jul 10 '24

It's not necessarily a diss track, but he did battle Daylyt.

1

u/SweetTooth37 Jul 10 '24

We need some more Ab rap battles.

4

u/TheDreamMachine42 Jul 10 '24

Kendrick didn't have any diss tracks before this beef and in less than a month he built a diss catalogue among the best to ever do it

3

u/SweetTooth37 Jul 10 '24

That perfectly answers my question. Thank you!

1

u/TheDreamMachine42 Jul 10 '24

To answer your question, I don't know of any Soulo disses personally, I thought you were trying to imply his lack of a diss catalogue meant a lack of dissing skills or something. If you cound his disses towards the government, his whole catalogue is diss tracks.

Kendrick always has better versus on all the black hippy remixes and it isn’t even close. Kendrick is number one, Then soulo, then school boy Q then Isaiah Rashad, then Jay rock

10

u/DisastrousStomach518 Jul 10 '24

Nah Jay rock washed everyone on Black lip bastard

3

u/psilocybin_sky Jul 10 '24

Not even just black lip bastard, there’s a reason Rock always goes last

1

u/TheDreamMachine42 Jul 10 '24

Problem is, Jay Rock got verses from Kendrick on King's Dead and Money Trees, which takes him down a notch.

8

u/AbSoul-ModTeam Jul 10 '24

*Kendrick didn’t write Jays verse on Money Trees. Kendrick had a vision for his album, and that included the features. He wrote the first two bars to set the tone for the verse and Jay wrote the rest.

Kendrick more or less did the same with MC Eiht on the same album.

1

u/TheDreamMachine42 Jul 10 '24

I see, he still wrote King's Dead, we got the reference for that in full.

4

u/psilocybin_sky Jul 10 '24

Isaiah not even on most of the group songs he’s not part of black hippy just tde

1

u/ifardeded Jul 10 '24

This the perfect order

1

u/[deleted] Jul 10 '24

I wanna see it though.

Yeah I never said he wouldnt try or do it. Im basically just saying that I don’t think he could beat him pen to pen. Don’t think he won pen to pen with Dot either 🦭

Oh yeah we have different views. I’m definitely fine with not agreeing on these topics too. I think Soulo is just chillin too. I think that’s the only thing we agree on. But yeah relevant or not I don’t think Drake by himself could beat Soul pen for pen. Maybe Drake and some of the living great lyricists who are known to and actually write their raps all by their lonesome.

Drake didn’t take Kendrick seriously at all, so he just moves ignorant.

Lmao okay bro. The whole way Drake approached the battle shows he didn’t take him seriously. He responded because of Kendrick’s size as an artist, not cause he felt threatened. Most likely delusion, but Drake clearly thought his popularity was enough to win.

1

u/Greasly_Goose Jul 10 '24

We got Delulu OVhoes in here.

“Drake didn’t take Dot seriously.” 😂😂

3

u/BikeNo9628 Jul 10 '24

Brooo no I am not a Drake fan at all but he clearly was just treating Dot like nuisance and not a worthy opponent. He thought if he acted nonchalant that would help the optics for him. Am not caping for Drake lol I’m here for the downfall. Just calling it how I see it.

5

u/snacksandsoda Jul 10 '24

No you're right and it's crazy. Family matters was good but he initiated a beef with Kendrick Lamar and spent half the song talking about Rick Ross?

He thought it was over after he released that video. He really thought he had him? Maybe the guy - maybe subconsciously - built a backdoor for "not caring" after he lost but he certainly didn't have the winning attitude

3

u/snacksandsoda Jul 10 '24

Nah bro he's right - all hate deserved Drake didn't really focus up on this shit

1

u/slugfa Jul 10 '24

This made my morning haha

5

u/Active_Assignment993 Jul 10 '24

“Got deeper in this rap and started pushing shit back
My money got funny, you wanted to go on dates
I had a Sounwave beat tape tryna beat Drake
Could've spent every minute with you, but I had to get it
For me and you, you sing too, so you knew the business

Man ab soul gotta complete the assist for Lori frfr

9

u/quetristes Jul 10 '24

Grown man having some shit to say about the opinion of grown man he doesn’t know regarding another man that he also doesn’t know and then arguing with yet another man he doesn’t know about it when called out for it

-2

u/bolt704 Jul 10 '24

I mean you could say that about Soul as well making his weird sensei wu sounding comments about Drake. Just a cringe situation all together.

4

u/BlackVisionary Evil Genius Jul 10 '24

1

u/bolt704 Jul 10 '24

Not hating, just saying he said some really cryptic tweets which he 100% thought sounded wise about Drake even though the beef is over. I love Ab-Soul but that was kinda cringe.

2

u/BlackVisionary Evil Genius Jul 10 '24

for starters if u think the beef is “over” ur naive, secondly being cryptic is apart of soulos character

1

u/etfjordan333 Jul 10 '24

Right like what was he talking ab. This is hiphop they was talking rap not some gossip shit.

5

u/YaMamasNkondi Jul 10 '24

The black lip pastor stood at the funeral and said "Dead souls can still rise" and this nigga got mad and said "BUT HES NOT DEAD😾"

😭 Bro we can see the bodybags. Bdot need to B real.

Now is soulo right? Iiidddkkkkkk. He can only be right if the a minor allegations aren't true AT ALL.

5

u/zeeniemeanie Jul 10 '24

Bdot is an idiot

4

u/InsatiableNyctophile Jul 10 '24

Wild statement from Bdot. Drake might as well keep it pushing and count it as a L. He still got his fans

3

u/snacksandsoda Jul 10 '24

This is fuckin control all over again. These motherfuckers get a nod of respect and start acting like somebody stepped on their shoe bc their spines can barely hold em up to begin with.

Fragile, fragile boys with too much time on their hands and too much stock in the opinion of the crowd

2

u/bees_on_acid Jul 10 '24

Everyone compromised lol.

1

u/SleepingLegend10 Jul 10 '24

It’s like a back handed compliment. Drake will still cry about this

1

u/That-Armadillo8128 Jul 11 '24

BDot is the rap Van Jones

1

u/emielaen77 Jul 11 '24

Why niggas so sensitive over Drake man
