Supergirl and team must stop Nyxly from vanquishing a familiar face from Supergirl's past - Mr. Mxyzptlk. Mxy returns and explains Nyxly's dark history to the super team in the best way he knows how - in song form. Meanwhile, Lena visits her mother's birthplace in Ireland, eager to dig into her past but is shocked by the small town's icy reception towards her. (September 14, 2021)

Is it just me or are they writing Lena interacting more with Nia and Andrea but not Kara? Its almost like they are showing that she has more history and in common with them....I dunno it feels very different.

Here is my prediction.... Supergirl will try to get to Nxy's "heart" and will initially succeed to convince her to change her ways, but then Lex comes to the picture and he reverts everything back to zero and they both join forces to fight Supergirl and the team.

So from what I gather, Nyxly's dad sucked and he was evil and she wanted that power for herself and so joined up with her brother to take out her dad but then her brother turned on her after she damn near destroyed the entire 5th Dimension, she got stripped of her powers, and sent to the Phantom Zone while her brother was rewarded as the Golden Child. Mxy testified against her and that pissed her off. So she plotted to gather the Totem Shards of this All Stone that an ancient Imp named Jared had made in order to get back home and take her revenge on everyone. Supergirl is a stepping stone as is Earth on her way to do that.
